Dealing With a Case of Incest
1It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that even pagans do not tolerate: A man is sleeping with his father’s wife. 2And you are proud! Shouldn’t you rather have gone into mourning and have put out of your fellowship the man who has been doing this? 3For my part, even though I am not physically present, I am with you in spirit. As one who is present with you in this way, I have already passed judgment in the name of our Lord Jesus on the one who has been doing this. 4So when you are assembled and I am with you in spirit, and the power of our Lord Jesus is present, 5hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh,5:5 In contexts like this, the Greek word for flesh (sarx) refers to the sinful state of human beings, often presented as a power in opposition to the Spirit.5:5 Or of his body so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord.
6Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole batch of dough? 7Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. 8Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
9I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people— 10not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. 11But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister5:11 The Greek word for brother or sister (adelphos) refers here to a believer, whether man or woman, as part of God’s family; also in 8:11, 13. but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.
12What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? 13God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.”5:13 Deut. 13:5; 17:7; 19:19; 21:21; 22:21,24; 24:7
清除淫亂之罪
1我聽說在你們當中竟有人與繼母亂倫。這種淫亂的事，就是連異教徒都做不出來。 2你們竟然還自高自大！難道你們不該痛心，把做這事的人從你們當中趕出去嗎？ 3現在，我雖然身在遠方，心卻在你們那裡。我已經審判了做這事的人，就像親自在場一樣。 4你們奉我們主耶穌的名聚會時，我的心並我們主耶穌的權能也與你們同在。 5你們要把這人交給撒旦去毀壞他的肉體，好使這人的靈魂在主耶穌再來的日子可以得救。
6你們自誇不是好事，豈不知一點麵酵能使整團麵發起來嗎？ 7你們要把舊酵除掉，好成為真正無酵的新麵團，因為我們逾越節的羔羊基督已經被獻為祭了。 8所以，我們不可帶著歹毒邪惡的舊酵守這逾越節，而要用純潔真誠的無酵餅。
9我以前曾經寫信吩咐你們，不可與淫亂的人交往。 10我的意思並不是指世上所有淫亂、貪婪、欺詐與祭拜偶像的人。那樣的話，你們將不得不離開這個世界。 11我的意思是，若有人自稱是信徒，卻淫亂、貪婪、祭拜偶像、毀謗、酗酒、欺詐，你們不要和他們交往，甚至不要和他們一起吃飯。
12審判教會以外的人與我何干？然而，教會裡面的人豈不是該由你們審判嗎？ 13上帝自會審判教會以外的人，你們要把那邪惡的人從你們當中趕出去。5·13 申命記13·15；17·7；19·19；21·21；22·21、24；24·7。
