Dear Friend,
When I talk with our frontline workers and partner ministries, when I travel to visit people all over the world who are risking it all for the Gospel every day, I’m overcome by a sense of urgency. The work of translating God’s Word, making it accessible, and helping people of all ages and conditions immerse themselves in it, can’t wait.
You’ll see that urgency reflected in our theme for 2023, Whatever It Takes. It’s why we’re investing in new technologies and new methods that will speed translation and reach millions more people in increasingly cost-effective ways. It’s why we’re making our translations freely available to anyone doing Gospel work. And it’s why we’re incredibly grateful for friends like you who are with us on the journey.
This work we’re doing together isn’t easy. There are challenges and disappointments along the way. But we’re not working alone. God is here with us—and as Easter reminds us every year, He is willing to do whatever it takes to reconcile the world to Himself.
It’s a privilege to steward God’s Word. It takes perseverance and passion, faith and boldness. But we stand on God’s promise, “It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11, NIV).
This Easter season, thank you for joining us in the commitment to do whatever it takes to bring God’s Word to the world!
