President / Chief Executive Officer
Geof Morin joined the Biblica team in August 2018 as President and CEO following an extensive career of exploring new avenues to reach people with the message of the Bible.
Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Ministry Mobilization at American Bible Society. In this role, Geof led the organization’s global ministry strategies, including translation, trauma healing and domestic Bible advocacy initiatives. He began his career with the global advertising firm Saatchi & Saatchi before turning his attention to ministry, through the completion of a Yale University master’s degree, and launching and directing two nonprofits for at-risk youth. Morin later served as the director of marketing at Geneva Global, a leading philanthropic research and consulting firm.
Senior Vice President, Translation
As Senior Vice President for Translation, Stephen oversees all of Biblica’s translation, Bible and resource publishing, and digital innovation. He joined the team in 2011 as Area Executive Director for Europe and was appointed to a global role in 2015. Prior to Biblica, he served with the Evangelical Alliance UK for 10 years, serving first as Northern Ireland Director, then leading the UK Public Theology work, and also the Vice President for the European Evangelical Alliance. Previously, he had been senior pastor of a Baptist church in Ireland. His passion in ministry has always been to see people engage better with the Bible and understand it as God still speaking today, not just “way back then.”
He has degrees in Philosophy & Politics, and also in theology, as well as a post-graduate degree in education, all earned from Queen’s University Belfast.
Senior Vice President, Global Ministry
Laura joined Biblica in 2017. She leads the global task force behind Biblica’s strategic processes to align all organizational functions and develop metrics to track and evaluate Biblica’s global ministry. She oversees Biblica’s strategic global partnerships, assisting them with Bible engagement strategies and helping them achieve their respective missions, both globally and domestically.
Her career experience ranges from investment banking at JP Morgan Chase to leading the development team at Compassion International. Most recently, she served as VP-International Operations at Children’s HopeChest before coming to Biblica as Area Executive Director, North America. Laura earned a BBA-Finance from The University of Texas at Austin. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Global Issues at the University of Denver.
Senior Vice President, Impact
Aaron LeClaire oversees Biblica’s stewardship responsibility to monitor and improve its “return on mission.” Aaron comes with nearly 20 years of experience in philanthropy and nonprofit leadership.
Prior to joining Biblica in 2019, Aaron served as Vice President with a leading consulting firm, working with numerous ministries and nonprofits to improve their strategy, messaging, and donor engagement. Previous to that, Aaron was Vice President of Programs of a large Christian foundation, where he interacted with hundreds of ministries in more than 100 countries. Aaron has studied theology and law, and is an avid lifelong learner. He is also certified in strategic planning.
Senior Vice President, Advancement
Tracy oversees fundraising programs, marketing and communications for the ministry. She came to Biblica in 2016 with a passion to see ministry fundraising revolutionized for the changing giving environment. Tracy brings over 15 years of non-profit fundraising and marketing experience. Having worked for organizations large and small, with local, national and international reach, Tracy leverages a wide array of experience of working with generous families, building fundraising programs and implementing innovative marketing solutions.
Tracy previously held positions with The Latin School of Chicago, The Nature Conservancy, Bright Hope, and most recently, Dickerson, Bakker and Associates.
Senior Vice President, Finance / Chief Financial Officer
Bruce joined Biblica in 2019 as Chief Financial Officer. In a career spanning 25+ years of finance, risk management and audit both in the U.S. and the Middle East, Bruce has excelled within roles at Coopers & Lybrand, General Dynamics and Allianz Partners. Through these experiences, he has provided financial leadership for high growth teams. This step to serve with Biblica represents a clear calling to further leverage these strong marketplace skills—now for dedicated, kingdom purposes.
Bruce earned an undergraduate degree in accounting from Penn State and an MBA from George Washington University.
Global Ministry Team
Vice President, Europe and MENA
Mark grew up in the deprived East End of London, where he saw first-hand the transformational power of God in the lives of many lost and hopeless people. He is passionate about building strong teams and partnerships that change the lives of marginalized and vulnerable people, through breaking down barriers to God’s Word to introduce people to Jesus.
Mark joined Biblica in 2011 after leadership roles in publishing at Inter-Varsity Press, Authentic Media and Paternoster. His vision is to inspire Christians to use their God-given creativity to revolutionize the world for Jesus through sharing the Bible with those who have never encountered Jesus. Mark leads Biblica’s gifted teams working with partners in Europe, Central Asia, Middle East and North Africa.
Vice President, Africa
As Vice President, Lydia provides oversight of Biblica’s work in Africa and ensures that the mission of Biblica is advanced by working with ministry partners. She has served as Regional Director for Biblica East Africa (11 years), National Director for Biblica Kenya (1 year), and Communication Manager for Biblica Kenya (9 years).
Lydia is currently pursuing her MBA in Strategic Management at Kenyatta University. She holds a Diploma in Management of NGOs from Kenya Institute of Management and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication with a Music minor from Daystar University.
Vice President, Translation & Publishing
Jonathan began his career with Biblica in 2003 and over the next 14 years served the organization in planned giving, advancement, marketing, and operations. In 2017, after completing an Executive MBA from the University of Colorado, he stepped away from Biblica to join Dish Network. His recent experience in the Fortune 200 world allowed him to grow his expertise in operational leadership, project management, and strategic planning. Jonathan rejoined Biblica in 2019 to lead our translation efforts, publishing division, and legal team.
Vice President, Training & Quality Assurance
In his current role, Hans oversees the development of a Digital Training Library (DTL) in collaboration with Fuller Theological Seminary and ETEN implementing partners. The DTL is an online learning platform designed to provide training to translation teams, second-level checkers, and translation consultants in order to improve quality assurance for the entire Bible translation movement. Since he joined Biblica in 2013, Hans has served in various translation roles, most recently as Vice President, Global Translation, overseeing Biblica’s global translation portfolio.
Hans has four degrees in Biblical languages and theology from Stellenbosch University and is an ordained minister in the Dutch Reformed Church in South Africa. Previously, he lectured at Stellenbosch University and University of the Western Cape. Together with his wife Patricia and 5 children, Hans served for 17 years in Malaysia with Wycliffe Bible Translators and SIL International in translation and administration to enable local language communities to achieve their language development and Bible translation goals.
Vice President, Digital Innovation
Mark Finzel joined Biblica in 2016. He currently oversees Biblica’s Digital Innovation and Information Technology teams. His primary role is ensuring that Biblica continues to innovate digitally, through translation & publishing opportunities, working with global partners, and working closely with area offices to pursue areas of growth for digital transformation. Mark brings a diverse business background to Biblica, including over 20 years of technology experience, and over 10 years of brand and marketing experience.
He is a graduate of Biola University in La Mirada, California.
Vice President, Donor Engagement
Blake joined Biblica in 2019, and oversees the Advancement Team as it relates to investors at the mass segment level, all digital and direct mail marketing, external agency management, and Biblica’s planned giving program. A strong advocate for the marginalized and disenfranchised, Blake has fostered over thirty foster children and has served on several social cause-related boards including the United Way Finance Committee and Second Harvest Community Food Banks.
After spending twenty years in California’s corporate finance and marketing world, Blake entered the non-profit space in 2003 serving in various executive leadership roles with OneHope, 4KIDS of South Florida, and Heart2Heart Senior Outreach.
Vice President, Asia
Biblica is committed to bringing the Bible to Asia in a format that is easy to understand and faster to receive so its people can be transformed through Jesus Christ. Security can often be an issue for our brothers and sisters working in this region. As a result, the identity of our Vice President of Asia has been withheld.
