Director of Development

Biblica is a Christian community that exists to exercise and express Biblica’s Christian beliefs. Biblica is looking for an experienced Director of Development. Within the Resource Development Division, as an integral leader of the Major Relations Department, the Director of Development will increase funding for the global ministry of Biblica by obtaining donations primarily from major donors. The Director of Development is responsible for managing relationships and fundraising activities with major and rising donors in their assigned portfolio. Identifies, qualifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards a portfolio of major donors and prospective donors consisting mainly of individuals, but may also include businesses, foundations, churches, and other donor entities. The Director of Development plans, monitors, and tracks all contacts resulting in positive and purposeful donor relations which leads to the meaningful progression and raising of funds. Recommends and assists with involving the executive leadership, Board members, key staff members, and natural partners where appropriate and helpful in cultivating donors. Incumbent is highly energetic and relational; motivated to network socially, responsible for developing prospective donors into enthusiastic major donors.

This position will relate to all members of the Resource Development Division. Reports to the Chief Advancement Officer and works collaboratively and strategically with other fundraising professionals, leadership, and staff to cultivate and solicit funding for ministry priorities.

Development Writer

Biblica is a Christian organization looking to hire a Development Writer. The Development Writer will provide support to the central Development and Marketing team. The Writer will collaborate with other members of the global Biblica team. The Development Writer will serve as project manager, editor, and/or principal writer for a wide variety of print and electronic projects, including funding proposals for individuals, family foundations and other organizations – at times will assist with foundation work, annual stewardship reports for donors, and generally lead project summary writing for a diverse array of ministry fundraising targets. This position requires a bachelor’s degree, Master’s in communication preferable; along with five years of professional experience in development/fundraising writing, communications, media relations or related field.

Executive Assistant to the CEO

Biblica is looking for an experienced professional who has experience working with top executives to fill the position of Executive Assistant to the CEO. The Executive Assistant provides strategic level interaction, support and administration for the Office of the CEO in order to work towards the broader mission and vision of Biblica. Within Biblica, the Executive Assistant interacts primarily with the Office of the CEO, and other staff members within the Global Ministry Center and the Global Ministry Team, as necessary. The Executive Assistant will also support and liaise for and with the CEO by facilitating interactions with ministry/organization partners and senior leaders, as well as major financial partners. The Executive Assistant will extend efficiency and enhance effectiveness of the CEO through day-to-day support and representing the executive to others. Responsible for a high level of administrative and organizational support, including confidential and strategic calendar management for the CEO, preparation for meetings, CEO travel arrangements, employee meetings and communications, processing expenses. Providing confidential executive support to the CEO, handles a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks, making decisions and applying discernment in confidential matters. The position demands a high level of organization, flexibility, resourcefulness, efficiency and a professional demeanor in the challenges represented by supporting the executive office.
