स्तोत्र 99
1याहवेह शासक हैं,
राष्ट्र कांपते रहें;
उन्होंने अपना आसन करूबों के मध्य स्थापित किया है,
पृथ्वी कांप जाए.
2ज़ियोन में याहवेह तेजस्वी हैं;
वह समस्त राष्ट्रों के ऊपर बसे हैं.
3उपयुक्त है उनका आपके महान और भय-योग्य नाम की वंदना करना—
पवित्र हैं वह.
4राजा शक्ति-सम्पन्न हैं, वह जो न्याय को प्रिय मानता है,
उन्होंने इस्राएल में समता की स्थापना की है;
जो न्याय संगत और उचित है.
5याहवेह, हमारे परमेश्वर की महिमा की जाए,
उनके चरणों में गिर आराधना की जाए;
वह पवित्र हैं.
6मोशेह और अहरोन उनके पुरोहित थे,
शमुएल उनके आराधक थे;
ये सभी याहवेह को पुकारते थे
और वह उन्हें उत्तर देते थे.
7मेघ-स्तंभ में से याहवेह ने उनसे वार्तालाप किया;
उन्होंने उनके अधिनियमों तथा उनके द्वारा सौंपे गए आदेशों का पालन किया.
8याहवेह, हमारे परमेश्वर,
आप उन्हें उत्तर देते थे;
इस्राएल के लिए आप क्षमा शील परमेश्वर रहे,
यद्यपि आप उनके अपराधों का दंड देते रहे.
9याहवेह, हमारे परमेश्वर की महिमा को ऊंचा करो,
उनके पवित्र पर्वत पर उनकी आराधना करो,
क्योंकि पवित्र हैं हमारे याहवेह परमेश्वर.
Psalm 99
1The Lord reigns,
let the nations tremble;
he sits enthroned between the cherubim,
let the earth shake.
2Great is the Lord in Zion;
he is exalted over all the nations.
3Let them praise your great and awesome name—
he is holy.
4The King is mighty, he loves justice—
you have established equity;
in Jacob you have done
what is just and right.
5Exalt the Lord our God
and worship at his footstool;
he is holy.
6Moses and Aaron were among his priests,
Samuel was among those who called on his name;
they called on the Lord
and he answered them.
7He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud;
they kept his statutes and the decrees he gave them.
8Lord our God,
you answered them;
you were to Israel a forgiving God,
though you punished their misdeeds.99:8 Or God, / an avenger of the wrongs done to them
9Exalt the Lord our God
and worship at his holy mountain,
for the Lord our God is holy.
