大祭司のためのきよい服（第四の幻）
1それから、その御使いは私に幻の中で、主の使いの前に立っている大祭司ヨシュアを見せてくれました。サタンも主の使いの右手にいて、ヨシュアを多くのことで訴えていました。 2主はサタンに言いました。「サタンよ、おまえの訴えは退ける。私、主が、エルサレムに情け深くすると決めたので、おまえを非難する。ヨシュアとその民を助けると決めた。彼らは火の中から取り出した燃えさしのようなものだ。」 3主の使いの前に立った時、ヨシュアの服は汚れていました。 4するとその御使いはそこに立っているほかの者たちに、「汚れた服を脱がせなさい」と言いました。それからヨシュアの方を向いて、「さあ、あなたの罪を取り去った。今、このりっぱな新しい服を着せよう」と言いました。 5-6私が「どうぞ、きれいなターバンも」と言うと、彼らはそのとおりにしてくれました。
それから、主の使いはおごそかな調子でヨシュアに語りかけました。 7「全能の主は、こう宣言される。『わたしが用意した道に従い、わたしが命じることをすべて行うなら、わたしの神殿を管理させ、そこをきよく保たせよう。そして、この御使いたちと共に、わたしの前を出入りさせる。 8聞け、大祭司ヨシュアとほかの祭司たちよ。あなたがたは、やがて起こる良いことのしるしとなる人たちだ。わからないか。ヨシュアは、わたしが遣わす若枝（メシヤ）、わたしのしもべを表している。 9彼は、ヨシュアがそのかたわらに立っている神殿の礎石となり、わたしはその上に七回、「わたしは一日で、この地の罪を取り去る」と彫りつける。』 10全能の主はこう宣言される。『そののち、あなたがたは平和で豊かな生活をし、それぞれ自分の家を持ち、隣人を招くようになる。』」

And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment. 5And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by. 6And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying, 7Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.3.7 charge: or, ordinance3.7 places…: Heb. walks
