Read big. Read real. Read together.
Community Bible Experience has one simple goal: to change the way we read the Bible. Less like a reference book, more like a story. For thousands of churches, this 8-week journey has opened up a new conversation about the Scriptures, reigniting a passion for God’s Word.
We've been told a lot of things about the Bible. We know it's important. We know we should read it.
But we just don't.
What if there's a reason? And what if it isn't just apathy or laziness or busyness? What if it's the way we read?
Community Bible Experience gives churches a new way to read Scripture. Not a verse here or a chapter there, but whole books—experienced the way they were always meant to be. It’s not another Bible study, but a fresh, open conversation about the Bible—one that anyone can join.
And for churches who commit to this journey, it’s free. We believe it’s that important. We believe everyone should be able to experience the Bible this way.
To start, Community Bible Experience takes takes your church through the whole New Testament in just 40 days. Five days a week, around 12 pages a day, every word—helping you connect deeply with the stories and poetry, the characters, and teachings of the Bible. (Additional reading campaigns are on the way.)
Less like a reference book, more like a story. That’s how we were meant to read. And we've designed a Bible to help you do just that. No chapter and verse numbers, no cross-references, no red letter. The Books of the Bible restores the text to a more original presentation, helping you see Scripture in its original context and uncover its original beauty.
Community Bible Experience is not like any other Bible study you’ve done because it’s not a study. It’s more like a book club. There are no workbooks to fill out. No fill-in-the-blank answers to easy questions. Instead, groups gather once a week and simply discuss, ponder, and reflect together.
Just honest, open conversation about the Bible.
Ignite a renewal in your church
Nothing is more important to church vitality—and to personal spiritual growth—than a deep, sustained connection with the Bible. Nothing else even comes close.
Yet most of us barely read the Bible outside of church. And most churchgoers say they don’t get the help they need connecting deeply with the Scriptures.
That changes today.
Community Bible Experience has ignited a renewal of Bible reading in churches all over the globe. More than 80% of those surveyed finished reading the New Testament in 8 weeks—or less. For many—even longtime churchgoers—it’s the first time they’ve ever read the New Testament.
Now it’s your turn. Imagine what could happen in your church if you spent the next 8 weeks immersing yourselves in Scripture. But don’t just imagine. Do it. Dive in. Get swept up in the story.
