1ในวันนั้นหญิงเจ็ดคนจะยื้อยุดชายคนเดียว
และกล่าวว่า
“เราจะหาอาหารกินเอง
และจัดหาเสื้อผ้าสำหรับตัวเราเอง
ขอเพียงแต่ให้เราใช้นามสกุลของท่าน
ช่วยลบล้างความอัปยศให้เราด้วยเถิด!”
กิ่งขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า
2ในวันนั้นกิ่ง4:2 หรือเชื้อสายขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าจะงดงามและเปี่ยมด้วยราศี ผลแห่งดินแดนนั้นจะเป็นเกียรติสิริและความภาคภูมิใจของชาวอิสราเอลที่เหลือ 3เขาจะเรียกบรรดาคนที่เหลืออยู่ในศิโยน คืออยู่ในเยรูซาเล็มว่า วิสุทธิชน คือทุกคนที่มีชื่ออยู่ในทะเบียนพลเมืองเยรูซาเล็ม 4องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าจะทรงชำระล้างมลทินของพวกผู้หญิงศิโยน จะทรงชำระคราบโลหิตจากเยรูซาเล็มโดยวิญญาณ4:4 หรือพระวิญญาณแห่งไฟและการพิพากษา 5จากนั้นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าจะทรงสร้างกลุ่มเมฆควันในยามกลางวัน และเปลวไฟลุกโชติช่วงในยามกลางคืนเหนือภูเขาศิโยนและเหนือบรรดาผู้ที่ชุมนุมกันอยู่ที่นั่น เหนือสิ่งทั้งหมดเหล่านั้นคือพระเกียรติสิริของพระเจ้าจะเป็นเพดานฟ้า 6เป็นร่มเงากำบังความร้อนระอุในยามกลางวันและเป็นที่ปกป้องและที่พักพิงจากพายุและฝน
1At that time seven women
will grab hold of one man.
They’ll say to him, “We will eat our own food.
We’ll provide our own clothes.
Just let us become your wives.
Take away our shame!”
The Branch of the Lord
2At that time Israel’s king will be beautiful and glorious. He will be called The Branch of the Lord. The fruit of the land will be the pride and glory of those who are still left alive in Israel. 3Those who are left in Zion will be called holy. They will be recorded among those who are alive in Jerusalem. 4The Lord will wash away the sin of the women in Zion. He will clean up the blood that was spilled there. He will judge those who spilled that blood. His burning anger will blaze out at them. 5Then the Lord will create over Jerusalem a cloud of smoke by day. He will also create a glow of flaming fire at night. The cloud and fire will appear over all of Mount Zion. They will also appear over the people who gather together there. The Lord’s glory will be like a tent over everything. 6It will cover the people and give them shade from the hot sun all day long. It will be a safe place where they can hide from storms and rain.
