1บรรดาผู้ที่วางใจในองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าก็เป็นเช่นภูเขาศิโยน
ซึ่งไม่หวั่นไหว แต่ตั้งมั่นตลอดกาล
2ดั่งภูเขาทั้งหลายรายล้อมเยรูซาเล็ม
องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าก็ทรงโอบล้อมประชากรของพระองค์
ทั้งบัดนี้และสืบไปนิรันดร์
3คทาของคนชั่วจะไม่คงอยู่
เหนือแผ่นดินซึ่งเป็นส่วนของคนชอบธรรม
มิฉะนั้นคนชอบธรรม
จะลงมือทำผิด
4ข้าแต่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า ขอทรงดีต่อผู้ที่ทำดี
ต่อผู้ที่มีจิตใจเที่ยงธรรม
5แต่ผู้ที่หันไปสู่ทางคดเคี้ยว
องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าจะทรงเนรเทศเขาไปพร้อมกับคนทำชั่ว
สันติสุขจงมีแก่อิสราเอล
Psalm 125
A song of ascents.
1Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion,
which cannot be shaken but endures forever.
2As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
so the Lord surrounds his people
both now and forevermore.
3The scepter of the wicked will not remain
over the land allotted to the righteous,
for then the righteous might use
their hands to do evil.
4Lord, do good to those who are good,
to those who are upright in heart.
5But those who turn to crooked ways
the Lord will banish with the evildoers.
