53:1-6 – Sal 14:1-7

1Dice el necio en su corazón:
«No hay Dios».
Están corrompidos, sus injusticias son detestables;
¡no hay uno solo que haga lo bueno!
2Desde el cielo Dios contempla a los mortales,
para ver si hay alguien
que sea sensato y busque a Dios.
3Pero todos se han descarriado;
a una se han corrompido.
No hay nadie que haga lo bueno;
¡no hay uno solo!
4¿Acaso no tienen entendimiento esos malhechores,
esos que devoran a mi pueblo como si fuera pan?
¡Jamás invocan a Dios!
5Allí los tienen, sobrecogidos de miedo,
cuando no hay nada que temer.
Dios dispersó los huesos de quienes te atacaban;
tú los avergonzaste, porque Dios los rechazó.
6¡Oh, si de Sión saliera la salvación de Israel!
Cuando Dios restaure a su pueblo,53:6 restaure a su pueblo. Alt. haga que su pueblo vuelva del cautiverio.
¡Jacob se regocijará, Israel se alegrará!

1The fool says in his heart,
“There is no God.”
They are corrupt, and their ways are vile;
there is no one who does good.
2God looks down from heaven
on all mankind
to see if there are any who understand,
any who seek God.
3Everyone has turned away, all have become corrupt;
there is no one who does good,
not even one.
4Do all these evildoers know nothing?
They devour my people as though eating bread;
they never call on God.
5But there they are, overwhelmed with dread,
where there was nothing to dread.
God scattered the bones of those who attacked you;
you put them to shame, for God despised them.
6Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!
When God restores his people,
let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!
