Cântico de Peregrinação.
1Quando o Senhor trouxe os cativos
de volta a Sião126.1 Ou trouxe restauração a Sião, foi como um sonho.
2Então a nossa boca encheu-se de riso
e a nossa língua de cantos de alegria.
Até nas outras nações se dizia:
“O Senhor fez coisas grandiosas por este povo”.
3Sim, coisas grandiosas fez o Senhor por nós,
por isso estamos alegres.
4Senhor, restaura-nos126.4 Ou traze nossos cativos de volta,
assim como enches o leito dos ribeiros no deserto126.4 Ou Neguebe.
5Aqueles que semeiam com lágrimas,
com cantos de alegria colherão.
6Aquele que sai chorando
enquanto lança a semente,
voltará com cantos de alegria,
trazendo os seus feixes.

1When the Lord restored the fortunes of126:1 Or Lord brought back the captives to Zion,
we were like those who dreamed.126:1 Or those restored to health
2Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations,
‘The Lord has done great things for them.’
3The Lord has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy.
4Restore our fortunes,126:4 Or Bring back our captives Lord,
like streams in the Negev.
5Those who sow with tears
will reap with songs of joy.
6Those who go out weeping,
carrying seed to sow,
will return with songs of joy,
carrying sheaves with them.
