Four chariots
1I looked up again, and there before me were four chariots coming out from between two mountains – mountains of bronze. 2The first chariot had red horses, the second black, 3the third white, and the fourth dappled – all of them powerful. 4I asked the angel who was speaking to me, ‘What are these, my lord?’
5The angel answered me, ‘These are the four spirits6:5 Or winds of heaven, going out from standing in the presence of the Lord of the whole world. 6The one with the black horses is going towards the north country, the one with the white horses towards the west,6:6 Or horses after them and the one with the dappled horses towards the south.’
7When the powerful horses went out, they were straining to go throughout the earth. And he said, ‘Go throughout the earth!’ So they went throughout the earth.
8Then he called to me, ‘Look, those going towards the north country have given my Spirit6:8 Or spirit rest in the land of the north.’
A crown for Joshua
9The word of the Lord came to me: 10‘Take silver and gold from the exiles Heldai, Tobijah and Jedaiah, who have arrived from Babylon. Go the same day to the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah. 11Take the silver and gold and make a crown, and set it on the head of the high priest, Joshua son of Jozadak.6:11 Hebrew Jehozadak, a variant of Jozadak 12Tell him this is what the Lord Almighty says: “Here is the man whose name is the Branch, and he will branch out from his place and build the temple of the Lord. 13It is he who will build the temple of the Lord, and he will be clothed with majesty and will sit and rule on his throne. And he6:13 Or there will be a priest on his throne. And there will be harmony between the two.” 14The crown will be given to Heldai,6:14 Syriac; Hebrew Helem Tobijah, Jedaiah and Hen6:14 Or and the gracious one, the son of Zephaniah as a memorial in the temple of the Lord. 15Those who are far away will come and help to build the temple of the Lord, and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. This will happen if you diligently obey the Lord your God.’

1А ја сам се окренуо, подигао поглед, и гле! Видео сам како четвора кола стижу између две горе. А горе су биле бронзане. 2У првим су колима били упрегнути коњи риђани, а у другим колима коњи вранци. 3У трећим су колима били упрегнути коњи белци, а у четвртим колима снажни коњи шарци. 4Обратио сам се анђелу који је разговарао са мном: „Господару мој, шта је то?“
5Одговорио ми је овако: „Ово су четири небеска духа који долазе из присуства Господа све земље. 6Кола са вранцима су долазила на северну земљу, она са белцима су ишла за њима, а кола са шарцима су ишла на југ.“
7Снажни коњи су изашли жељни да иду и оптрче земљу. А он рече: „Идите! Оптрчите земљу!“ И они су оптрчавали земљу.
8А он ми довикну: „Види оне који су кренули на северну земљу, како су умирили мој дух у северној земљи.“
Круна за Исуса
9Дошла ми је реч Господња и поручила: 10„Узми од изгнаника, од Хелдаја, од Товије, од Једаја, који су дошли из Вавилона. Иди тога дана, уђи у кућу Јосије, Софонијиног сина. 11Узми злато и сребро, направи круну и стави је на главу Првосвештенику Исусу, Јоседековом сину. 12Реци му: ’Овако каже Господ над војскама: ево човека! Зове се Изданак. Изникнуће са свог места и изградиће Дом Господњи. 13Изградиће Дом Господњи, носиће славу, засешће и владаће са свог престола. И свештеник ће бити на свом престолу, а између њих двојице ће бити мир.’ 14А круна ће остати у Дому Господњем за спомен Хелдају, Товији, Једају и Хену, Софонијином сину. 15Они који су далеко долазиће да граде Дом Господњи па ћете знати да ме је к вама послао Господ над војскама. И то ће се збити ако будете стварно послушали глас Господа, вашег Бога.“
