Psalm 29
A psalm of David.
1Praise the Lord, you angels in heaven.
Praise the Lord for his glory and strength.
2Praise the Lord for the glory that belongs to him.
Worship the Lord because of his beauty and holiness.
3The voice of the Lord is heard over the waters.
The God of glory thunders.
The Lord thunders over the mighty waters.
4The voice of the Lord is powerful.
The voice of the Lord is majestic.
5The voice of the Lord breaks the cedar trees.
The Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon into pieces.
6He makes the mountains of Lebanon leap like a calf.
He makes Mount Hermon jump like a young wild ox.
7The voice of the Lord strikes
with flashes of lightning.
8The voice of the Lord shakes the desert.
The Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.
9The voice of the Lord twists the oak trees.
It strips the forests bare.
And in his temple everyone cries out, “Glory!”
10The Lord on his throne rules over the flood.
The Lord rules from his throne as King forever.
11The Lord gives strength to his people.
The Lord blesses his people with peace.
Salmo 29Salmo 29 Ang titulo sa Hebreo: Ginsulat ni David.
Ang Gamhanan nga Tingog sang Dios
1Dayawa ninyo ang Ginoo,
kamo nga langitnon nga mga tinuga.29:1 langitnon nga mga tinuga: ukon, mga anak sang makagagahom nga Dios.
Dayawa ninyo ang iya gahom kag kusog.
2Ihatag sa Ginoo ang pagpadungog nga nagakadapat sa iya.
Simbaha ninyo siya sa iya balaan nga presensya.
3Ang tingog sang Ginoo, ang gamhanan nga Dios, mabatian sa ibabaw sang tubig.
Nagadaguob ini sa ibabaw sang mabaskog nga dagat.
4Ang iya tingog gamhanan kag halangdon,
5kag makabali sang mga kahoy nga sedro sang Lebanon.
6Ginatay-og sang Ginoo ang mga bukid sang Lebanon kag ang bukid sang Hermon,29:6 bukid sang Hermon: sa Hebreo, Sirion.
kag daw pareho ini sang torite nga baka nga nagatumbo.
7Ang tingog sang Ginoo nagapakilat
8kag nagapatay-og sang kamingawan,
bisan pa ang kamingawan sang Kadesh.
9Ang tingog sang Ginoo nagapabata sang usa29:9 nagapabata sang usa: ukon, nagapauyog sang mga kahoy nga terebinto.
kag nagapataktak sang mga dahon sang kahoy.
Kag sa iya templo nagasinggit ang tanan, “Gamhanan ang Dios!”
10Ang Ginoo nagagahom sa mga baha.
Nagagahom siya bilang hari sa wala sing katapusan.
11Ginapabaskog sang Ginoo ang iya katawhan
kag ginahatagan sang maayo nga kahimtangan.
