Psalm 118
1Give thanks to the Lord, because he is good.
His faithful love continues forever.
2Let the people of Israel say,
“His faithful love continues forever.”
3Let the priests of Aaron say,
“His faithful love continues forever.”
4Let those who have respect for the Lord say,
“His faithful love continues forever.”
5When I was in great trouble, I cried out to the Lord.
He answered me and set me free from my trouble.
6The Lord is with me. I will not be afraid.
What can mere human beings do to me?
7The Lord is with me. He helps me.
I win the battle over my enemies.
8It is better to go to the Lord for safety
than to trust in mere human beings.
9It is better to go to the Lord for safety
than to trust in human leaders.
10The nations were all around me.
But by the Lord’s power I destroyed them.
11They were around me on every side.
But by the Lord’s power I destroyed them.
12They attacked me like swarms of bees.
But they were burned up as quickly as thorns in a fire.
By the Lord’s power I destroyed them.
13I was pushed back and about to be killed.
But the Lord helped me.
14The Lord gives me strength and makes me secure.
He has saved me.
15Shouts of joy ring out in the tents of godly people.
They praise him for his help in battle.
They shout, “The Lord’s powerful right hand has done mighty things!
16The Lord’s powerful right hand has won the battle!
The Lord’s powerful right hand has done mighty things!”
17I will not die but live.
I will talk about what the Lord has done.
18The Lord has really punished me.
But he didn’t let me die.
19Open for me the gates where the godly can go in.
I will enter and give thanks to the Lord.
20This is the gate of the Lord.
Only those who do what is right can go through it.
21Lord, I will give thanks to you, because you answered me.
You have saved me.
22The stone the builders didn’t accept
has become the most important stone of all.
23The Lord has done it.
It is wonderful in our eyes.
24The Lord has done it on this day.
Let us be joyful today and be glad.
25Lord, save us.
Lord, give us success.
26Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord.
From the temple of the Lord we bless you.
27The Lord is God.
He has been good to us.
Take branches in your hands. Join in the march on the day of the feast.

1Хвалите Господа јер је добар,
јер је милост његова довека!
2Нек Израиљ каже:
„Јер је милост његова довека!“
3Нека дом Аронов каже:
„Јер је милост његова довека!“
4Нека кажу они који стрепе од Господа:
„Јер је милост његова довека!“
5У тескоби Господа сам звао;
чуо ме је Господ,
извео ме на пространо место.
6Господ је на мојој страни, нећу се бојати;
шта ми може учинити човек?
7Господ је на мојој страни,
међу мојим помагачима;
ја ћу само да ликујем
над онима што ме мрзе.
8Боље је у Господу уточиште наћи,
него у човеку ослонац пронаћи.
9Боље је у Господу уточиште наћи,
него у племићима ослонац пронаћи.
10Сви народи опколише мене,
али сам их потиснуо у име Господње.
11Опколише ме, баш ме окружише,
али сам их потиснуо у име Господње.
12Прекрише ме као пчеле,
ал’ згаснуше ко пламен у трњу,
јер баш сам их потиснуо у име Господње.
13Дивље су ме гурнули да паднем,
али ми је Господ помогао.
14Господ је моја сила и песма,
он ми је спасење!
15Повик клицања и спасења
у шатору је праведника,
силна је на делу десница Господња.
16Подигла се десница Господња!
Силна је на делу десница Господња!
17Ја умрети нећу, живећу
дела Господња да објавим.
18А корио ме је Господ, баш ме је корио;
али смрти предао ме није.
19Врата праведности отворите мени,
да кроз њих прођем и хвалим Господа!
20То су врата Господња,
праведни ће кроз њих проћи.
21Хвалићу те, јер си ми се одазвао,
јер си мени Спаситељ постао!
22Камен што су зидари одбацили,
постаде камен угаони.
23Од Господа ово беше
и то је дивно у нашим очима.
24Ово је дан саздан од Господа;
радујмо се и кличимо у њему!
25О, Господе, вапимо ти, спаси!
О, Господе, вапимо ти, успех дај нам!
26Благословен онај који долази у име Господње!
Благосиљамо вас из Дома Господњег!
27Господ је Бог,
нас је обасјао.
Жртву празничну конопцима завежите
за рогове жртвеника.
28Бог мој ти си, тебе ћу да хвалим;
о, мој Боже, тебе да величам!
29Хвалите Господа јер је добар,
јер је милост његова довека!
