Reyes derrotados por Moisés
1Los israelitas derrotaron a dos reyes cuyos territorios se extendían al este del río Jordán, desde el arroyo Arnón hasta el monte Hermón, y abarcaban el Arabá al oriente.
2Uno de ellos era Sijón, rey de los amorreos, cuyo trono estaba en Hesbón.
Este rey gobernaba desde Aroer, ciudad asentada a orillas del río Arnón, hasta el río Jaboc, que era la frontera del territorio de los amonitas. El territorio de Sijón incluía la cuenca del valle y la mitad de Galaad.
3Abarcaba también la parte oriental del Arabá hasta el lago Quinéret 12:3 lago Quinéret. Es decir, lago de Galilea. y de allí al mar del sur, que es el mar Muerto, por la vía de Bet Yesimot y más al sur, hasta las laderas del monte Pisgá.
4El otro rey era Og, rey de Basán, uno de los últimos refaítas, que residía en Astarot y Edrey.
5Este rey gobernaba desde el monte Hermón, en Salcá, en toda la región de Basán, hasta la frontera de Guesur y de Macá, y en la mitad de Galaad, hasta la frontera del territorio de Sijón, rey de Hesbón.
6Los israelitas bajo el mando de Moisés, siervo del Señor, derrotaron a estos reyes. Y Moisés, siervo del Señor, repartió aquel territorio entre la tribu de Rubén, de Gad y la media tribu de Manasés.
Reyes derrotados por Josué
7A continuación aparece la lista de los reyes que los israelitas derrotaron bajo el mando de Josué. Sus territorios se encontraban al lado occidental del río Jordán y se extendían desde Baal Gad, en el valle del Líbano, hasta el monte Jalac que asciende hacia Seír. Josué entregó las tierras de estos reyes como propiedad a las tribus de Israel, según las divisiones tribales. 8Tales territorios comprendían la región montañosa, las llanuras occidentales, el Arabá, las laderas, el desierto y el Néguev. Esas tierras habían pertenecido a los hititas, amorreos, cananeos, ferezeos, heveos y jebuseos.

15el rey de Libná, el rey de Adulán,
16el rey de Maquedá, el rey de Betel,
17el rey de Tapúaj, el rey de Héfer,
18el rey de Afec, el rey de Sarón,
19el rey de Madón, el rey de Jazor,
20el rey de Simrón Merón, el rey de Acsaf,
21el rey de Tanac, el rey de Meguido,
22el rey de Cedes, el rey de Jocneán que está en el Carmelo,

24y el rey de Tirsá.
Eran treinta y un reyes en total.

4¶ And the coast of Og king of Bashan, which was of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei, 5And reigned in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon. 6Them did Moses the servant of the LORD and the children of Israel smite: and Moses the servant of the LORD gave it for a possession unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh.
7¶ And these are the kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side Jordan on the west, from Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon even unto the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir; which Joshua gave unto the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions; 8In the mountains, and in the valleys, and in the plains, and in the springs, and in the wilderness, and in the south country; the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:
