1御使いたちは主をほめたたえなさい。
主の栄光と力をほめたたえなさい。
2まぶしいばかりの御名の栄光を覚えて、
主をほめたたえなさい。
きよい衣を着て主の前に出なさい。
3主の御声は雲間から響きます。
栄光の神は大空に雷鳴をとどろかせます。
4主の声は力強く、威厳に満ちています。
5-6主の声は杉の木をなぎ倒し、
レバノンの巨木を引き裂きます。
また、レバノン山とシルヨン山を揺り動かし、
子牛のように跳びはねさせます。
7主の声は、いなずまを光らせ、とどろき渡ります。
8砂漠にこだまし、カデシュの荒野を揺るがします。
9そして巨大な樫の木を倒します。
また、大風を巻き起こして森を激しくゆさぶり、
丸裸にします。
しかし神の宮では、
「栄光あれ。神に栄光あれ」と、
すべてのものがほめたたえる声がするのです。
10大洪水をもたらして、
全宇宙の支配者であることを示された主は、
引き続きその力を顕示しておられます。
11主はご自分の民に力を与え、
平安をもたらし、祝福を与えてくださいます。
