Salmo 98Salmo 98 Ang titulo sa Hebreo: Isa ka kanta.
Dayawa ang Dios nga Manughukom
1Magkanta kita sang bag-o nga kanta sa Ginoo,
kay naghimo siya sang makatilingala nga mga butang!
Paagi sa iya kaugalingon nga gahom kag kusog napierdi niya ang aton mga kaaway.
2Ginpakita sang Ginoo sa mga nasyon nga ginbuligan niya kita kag ginpadaog.
3Wala niya ginkalimtan ang iya gugma kag katutom sa aton nga katawhan sang Israel.
Nakita sang tanan nga tawo sa bug-os nga kalibutan98:3 bug-os nga kalibutan: sa literal, pinakapunta sang kalibutan. kon paano kita ginpadaog sang aton Dios.
4Kamo nga mga katawhan sa bug-os nga kalibutan, maghinugyaw kamo sa Ginoo tungod sa kalipay.
Magkanta kamo sing malipayon sa pagdayaw sa iya.
5-6Magkanta kamo sang mga pagdayaw sa Ginoo nga ginatukaran sang mga arpa, mga trumpeta, kag mga budyong.
Kag maghinugyaw kamo sa kalipay sa presensya sang Ginoo nga aton Hari.
7Magkalipay ang kalibutan kag ang tanan nga nagapuyo sa iya,
pati na ang dagat kag ang tanan nga ara sa iya.
8Magpalakpak ang mga suba kag magdulungan kanta sa kalipay ang mga bukid.
9Magkalipay sila sa presensya sang Ginoo
kay magaabot siya sa paghukom sa mga tawo sa kalibutan.
Pagahukman niya sila sing husto, nga wala siya sing may pinilian.
A Psalm.
1O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
2The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.98.2 openly…: or, revealed
3He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
5Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.
6With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.
7Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.98.7 the fulness…: or, all it containeth
8Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together
9Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.
