撒該悔改
1耶穌進了耶利哥，正從城裡經過。 2有個人名叫撒該，是稅吏長，家財豐厚。 3他想看看耶穌，可是因為周圍人多，他身材矮小，無法看見。 4他便跑到前面，爬上一棵桑樹觀看，因為耶穌會從那裡經過。
5耶穌走到那裡，抬頭招呼他說：「撒該，快下來！今天我要住在你家。」
6撒該連忙爬下來，興高采烈地帶耶穌回家。 7百姓見狀，都埋怨說：「祂怎麼到一個罪人家裡作客？」
8撒該站起來對主說：「主啊，我要把我一半的財產分給窮人。我欺騙過誰，就還誰四倍。」
9耶穌說：「今天救恩臨到這家了，因為他也是亞伯拉罕的子孫。 10人子來是要尋找和拯救迷失的人。」
十個奴僕的比喻
11眾人在聽的時候，耶穌又為他們講了一個比喻，因為祂快到耶路撒冷了，人們以為上帝的國馬上就要降臨了。
12耶穌說：「有一位貴族要到遠方去受封為王，然後返回。 13臨行前，他召集了十個奴僕，發給每人一千個銀幣，吩咐他們，『你們在我出門期間要用這些錢做生意。』
14「可是他的人民卻憎恨他，他們隨後派一個代表團去請願說，『我們不要這人作我們的王。』
15「那貴族受封為王回來後，召齊十個奴僕，想知道他們做生意賺了多少。 16第一個奴僕上前稟告說，『主啊，我用你給我的一千個銀幣賺了一萬個銀幣。』
17「主人說，『好，你真是個好奴僕！你既然在小事上忠心，就派你管理十座城。』
18「第二個奴僕上前說，『主啊，我用你給我的一千個銀幣賺了五千個銀幣。』
19「主人說，『我派你管理五座城。』
20「另一個奴僕上前說，『主啊，這是你先前給我的一千個銀幣，我一直把它包在手帕裡。 21因為你很嚴厲，沒有存還要取，沒有種還要收，所以我怕你。』
22「主人聽了，對那奴僕說，『你這個惡奴僕！我要按你自己的話定你的罪。你既然知道我很嚴厲，沒有存還要取，沒有種還要收， 23為什麼不把我的銀幣存進錢莊，到我回來時可以連本帶利收回來？』
24「接著，他吩咐站在旁邊的奴僕，『收回他那一千個銀幣，賞給那個賺了一萬銀幣的。』
25「他們說，『主啊，那個人已經有一萬銀幣了。』
26「主人答道，『我告訴你們，凡有的，還要給他更多；凡沒有的，連他僅有的也要奪走。 27至於那些反對我作王的仇敵，把他們捉回來，在我面前處決。』」
騎驢進耶路撒冷
28耶穌說完這個比喻，就走在眾人前面上耶路撒冷去。
29快到橄欖山附近的伯法其和伯大尼時，耶穌派了兩個門徒，說： 30「你們去前面的村莊，進村的時候，必看見一頭從來沒有人騎過的驢駒拴在那裡，你們把牠解開牽來。 31若有人問你們為什麼把牠解開，就說，『主要用牠。』」
32兩個門徒出去後，所遇見的情形正如耶穌所說的。 33當他們解開驢駒時，主人果然問他們：「你們為什麼解開驢駒？」
34他們說：「主要用牠。」
35他們牽著驢駒回去見耶穌，又把自己的外衣搭在驢背上，扶耶穌上驢。
36耶穌騎著驢前行，眾人用外衣為祂鋪路。 37祂正走下橄欖山，將近耶路撒冷的時候，眾門徒因為以往所見的神蹟奇事，就歡騰起來，高聲讚美上帝：
38「奉主名來的王當受稱頌！
天上有平安，至高處有榮耀！」
39百姓中有幾個法利賽人對耶穌說：「老師，你要責備你的門徒。」
40耶穌說：「我告訴你們，如果他們閉口不言，這些石頭都要呼喊了！」
為耶路撒冷哀哭
41耶穌快到耶路撒冷時，看見那城就哀哭， 42說：「今天你若知道那能帶給你平安的事就好了！可惜這事現在是隱藏的，你看不見！ 43因為有一天敵人要在你周圍築起壁壘把你團團圍住，四面攻擊你。 44他們要把你夷為平地，毀滅你城牆裡的兒女，不會留下兩塊疊在一起的石頭，因為你沒有認識到上帝眷顧你的時刻。」
耶穌潔淨聖殿
45耶穌進入聖殿趕走裡面做買賣的人， 46並對他們說：「聖經上說，『我的殿要成為禱告的殿』，你們竟把它變成了賊窩。」
47祂天天在聖殿教導人，祭司長、律法教師和百姓的官長都想殺祂， 48只是無從下手，因為百姓都十分喜愛聽祂講道。
1And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. 2And, behold, there was a man named Zacchæus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich. 3And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. 4And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way. 5And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchæus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house. 6And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully. 7And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner. 8And Zacchæus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. 9And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. 10For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. 11And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear. 12He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. 13And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come. 14But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us. 15And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. 16Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds. 17And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. 18And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds. 19And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities. 20And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin: 21For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow. 22And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow: 23Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury? 24And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds. 25(And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.) 26For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him. 27But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
28¶ And when he had thus spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem. 29And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, 30Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither. 31And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him. 32And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them. 33And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt? 34And they said, The Lord hath need of him. 35And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon. 36And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way. 37And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; 38Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. 39And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. 40And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
41¶ And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, 42Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. 43For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, 44And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. 45And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought; 46Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves. 47And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him, 48And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.
