1Ang tawo nga gustong maglainlain kaugalingon ray gihunahuna, ug supakon niya ang ensakto nga hunahuna sa uban.
2Ang tawong buang-buang wala gayoy tinguha nga makakat-on; ang gusto lang niya nga masulti ang iyang gusto.
3Ang paghimog daotan ug makauulaw nga butang maghatag ug kaulawan.
4Ang pulong sa tawong maalamon makahatag ug kaalam ngadto sa uban; sama kini sa nagadagayday nga tubig gikan sa lawom nga tuboran.
5Dili maayo ang pagdapig sa tawong sad-an ug ang dili paghatag ug hustisya ngadto sa tawong inosente sa sala.
6Ang mga pulong sa tawong buang-buang makapasugod ug away ug mahimong hinungdan nga madapatan siya.
7Ang mga pulong sa tawong buang-buang magpasakit ra usab kaniya.
8Ang tabi-tabi daw sama sa pagkaon nga lami usapon ug tunlon.
9Ang tawong tapolan sama kamaot sa tawong tigpangdaot.
10Ang Ginoo sama sa lig-ong tore; nagadangop kaniya ang mga matarong aron walay daotang mahitabo kanila.
11Nagahunahuna ang mga adunahan nga ang ilang bahandi makapanalipod kanila sama sa lig-on ug habog nga mga paril nga nagalibot sa siyudad.
12Ang pagpanghambog makapalaglag sa tawo, apan ang pagpaubos makahatag ug kadungganan.
13Balingag ug pakaulaw lang ang tawong wala mamati unya magtubag-tubag.
14Ang determinasyon sa tawo nga mabuhi makapalig-on kaniya kon magsakit siya, apan kon mawala kini wala nay makatabang pa kaniya.
15Ang tawong maalamon ug may panabot naninguha pa nga madugangan ang iyang kaalam.
16Sayon ra duolon ang tawong dungganon kon may dala kang regalo alang kaniya.
17Ang unang mopamatuod sa korte morag mao nay husto, hangtod dili pa niya ikaatubang ang iyang kontra.
18Ang pagripa makapaundang sa panaglalis, ug makahusay sa panagbangi sa duha ka gamhanang tawo.
19Lisod magpasig-uli sa usa ka igsoon18:19 igsoon: o, paryente; o, isigka-tawo. nga nahiubos kanimo. Mas lisod pa kining buhaton kaysa pagsulong sa usa ka pinarilan nga lungsod.
Maingon nga malisod gub-on ang mga trangka sa pultahan sa palasyo, malisod usab husayon ang panag-away sa duha ka tawo.
20Anihon mo ang bunga sa imong gipanulti.18:20 o, Kon maayo ka manulti, mabuhi ka.
21Ang imong ipanulti makaluwas sa kinabuhi o makamatay. Busa kon estoryador ka, pagmatngon kay anihon mo ang bunga sa imong gipamulong.
22Kon nakapangasawa ka, nakaangkon kag kaayohan, ug nagpadayag kana nga maayo ang Ginoo kanimo.
23Ang mga kabos mohangyo, apan ang mga adunahan sakit ug tinubagan.
24May panaghigalaay nga dili molungtad, apan may panaghigalaay usab nga mas suod pa kaysa managsoon.
