Lời Cầu Nguyện của Ha-ba-cúc
1Đây là lời cầu nguyện của Tiên tri Ha-ba-cúc, theo nhịp điệu khải hoàn ca:3:1 Nt shiggayon một bài ca đàn và hát theo nhịp điệu hùng mạnh như vũ bão, như quân nhạc, như khải hoàn ca (kd)
2Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu, con đã nghe tất cả về Ngài.
Xin Chúa truyền sức sống vào công việc Ngài
giữa các năm tháng vần xoay.
Giữa thời gian diễn tiến, xin Chúa dạy mọi người biết rõ.
Trong cơn thịnh nộ,
xin Ngài đừng quên thương xót.
3Đức Chúa Trời ngự đến từ Thê-man.
Đấng Chí Thánh từ Núi Pha-ran giáng xuống.
Vinh quang Ngài phủ các tầng trời.
Tiếng ngợi ca vang lừng khắp đất.
4Chúa rạng rỡ như mặt trời bừng sáng.3:4 Nt vinh quang Ngài như ánh sáng
Bàn tay Ngài phát ánh hào quang
chứa đầy năng lực.
5Ôn dịch hủy diệt đi trước Ngài;
chân Ngài bắn ra tên lửa.
6Chúa đứng lên đo đạc mặt đất.
Một cái nhìn của Chúa đủ đảo lộn các dân tộc.
Các núi vạn cổ chạy tản mác,
các đồi thiên thu bị san bằng.
Đường lối Chúa vẫn như thuở xa xưa!
7Tôi thấy các trại Cúc-san tan tành,
các trướng màn Ma-đi-an rúng động.
8Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu, có phải Ngài giận các dòng sông?
Cơn thịnh nộ Ngài đổ trên sông dài, biển rộng,
khi Ngài cưỡi ngựa và chiến xa cứu rỗi.
9Chúa lấy cây cung ra khỏi bao,
đúng theo lời Chúa đã thề hứa.3:9 Ctd theo lời thề của cây gậy của lời Chúa
Chúa chia cắt mặt đất bằng các dòng sông.
10Các núi thấy Ngài đều run cầm cập.
Các lượn sóng kéo nhau chạy trốn.
Vực thẳm kêu la kinh khiếp,
và đưa tay đầu hàng.3:10 Nt đưa tay lên cao
11Mặt trời và mặt trăng đứng yên trong bầu trời
vì mũi tên sáng rực của Ngài bắn ra
và gươm của Ngài tuốt trần như chớp nhoáng.
12Chúa nổi giận bước qua mặt đất,
phá tan các nước trong cơn thịnh nộ.
13Chúa ra đi cứu dân Ngài chọn,
giải thoát Đấng được Ngài xức dầu tấn phong.
Chúa đập tan đầu người ác,
lột trần nó từ đầu đến chân.3:13 Nt Chúa đập rơi cái đầu của nhà người gian ác, phơi trần nền móng nó đến tận cổ
14Chúa lấy giáo quân thù đâm đầu các chiến sĩ nó,
chúng kéo đến như giông bão để đánh tôi tan tác,
niềm vui của chúng là ăn nuốt người hiền lành trong nơi bí mật.
15Chúa đạp chân lên mặt biển cả,
cưỡi ngựa đi trên các dòng nước sôi bọt.
16Nghe những điều này toàn thân con run rẩy;
môi con run cầm cập.
Xương cốt con như mục nát ra,
lòng run sợ kinh hoàng.
Con phải yên lặng chờ ngày hoạn nạn,
là ngày bọn xâm lăng tấn công vào đất nước.
17Dù cây vả thôi trổ hoa,
vườn nho ngưng ra trái;
cây ô-liu không còn cung cấp dầu,
đồng ruộng chẳng sản sinh lương thực;
gia súc không còn trong chuồng nữa,
18con vẫn vui mừng trong Chúa Hằng Hữu!
Con sẽ hân hoan trong Đức Chúa Trời là Đấng Cứu Rỗi.
19Chúa Hằng Hữu Toàn Năng là sức mạnh của con!
Ngài cho bước chân con vững như chân hươu,
và dẫn con bước qua các vùng đồi núi rất cao.
