1ข้าแต่พระยาห์เวห์ผู้ทรงฤทธิ์
ที่ประทับของพระองค์งดงามยิ่งนัก!
2จิตวิญญาณของข้าพระองค์โหยหา
ปรารถนาที่จะเข้ามายังพระนิเวศขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า
กายใจของข้าพระองค์ร่ำร้องถวิลหาพระเจ้าผู้ทรงพระชนม์อยู่
3แม้แต่นกกระจอกยังหาบ้านได้
และนกนางแอ่นยังพบที่ที่จะทำรังพักพิง
และกกลูกอ่อนของมัน
คือที่ใกล้ๆ แท่นบูชาของพระองค์
ข้าแต่พระยาห์เวห์ผู้ทรงฤทธิ์ จอมราชัน และพระเจ้าของข้าพระองค์
4ความสุขมีแก่ผู้ที่พำนักในพระนิเวศของพระองค์
พวกเขาสรรเสริญพระองค์ตลอดเวลา

ขอทรงมองดูผู้ที่ทรงเจิมตั้งไว้ด้วยความโปรดปราน
10วันเดียวในพระนิเวศของพระองค์
ก็ดีกว่าพันวันในที่อื่น
ข้าพเจ้าขอเป็นคนเฝ้าประตูประจำพระนิเวศของพระเจ้าของข้าพเจ้า
ดีกว่าอยู่ในเต็นท์ของเหล่าคนชั่ว
11เพราะพระเจ้าพระยาห์เวห์ทรงเป็นดวงตะวันและโล่กำบัง
องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าประทานพระคุณและเกียรติ
ไม่มีสิ่งดีอันใดที่ทรงหน่วงเหนี่ยวไว้
จากผู้ที่ดำเนินชีวิตอย่างไร้ที่ติ
12ข้าแต่พระยาห์เวห์ผู้ทรงฤทธิ์
ความสุขมีแก่บรรดาผู้ที่วางใจในพระองค์
