1จิตวิญญาณของข้าพเจ้าพักสงบในพระเจ้าแต่ผู้เดียว
ความรอดของข้าพเจ้ามาจากพระองค์
2พระองค์แต่เพียงผู้เดียวทรงเป็นศิลาและความรอดของข้าพเจ้า
พระองค์ทรงเป็นป้อมปราการของข้าพเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าจะไม่มีวันหวั่นไหว
3พวกเจ้าจะรุมเล่นงานคนคนเดียวไปนานเท่าใด?
เจ้าทั้งหมดจะโค่นล้มเขา
ผู้เป็นเหมือนกำแพงเอียงกะเท่เร่และรั้วที่โยกเยกนี้หรือ?
4พวกเขาจงใจปลดเขาลงจากตำแหน่งสูง
พวกเขาชื่นชมในการโป้ปด

7ความรอดและเกียรติของข้าพเจ้าอยู่ที่พระเจ้า62:7 หรือพระเจ้าสูงสุดทรงเป็นความรอดและเกียรติของข้าพเจ้า
พระองค์ทรงเป็นพระศิลาอันทรงฤทธิ์ เป็นที่ลี้ภัยของข้าพเจ้า
8ประชาชนเอ๋ย จงวางใจในพระองค์ตลอดเวลา
จงเทความในใจของท่านต่อพระองค์
เพราะพระเจ้าทรงเป็นที่ลี้ภัยของเรา

9คนต่ำต้อยเป็นเพียงลมหายใจวูบหนึ่ง
คนสูงศักดิ์เป็นเพียงมายา
เมื่อขึ้นชั่งดูก็ไม่มีค่าอะไร
ทั้งคู่เป็นเพียงลมหายใจเฮือกเดียว
10อย่าพึ่งพาการบังคับขู่เข็ญ อย่าภาคภูมิใจในของที่ขโมยมา
แม้ทรัพย์สมบัติเพิ่มขึ้น ก็อย่าปักใจกับสิ่งเหล่านั้น

และ “พระองค์ทรงให้รางวัล
แต่ละคนตามการกระทำของเขา”

2He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.62.2 defence: Heb. high place
3How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.
4They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.62.4 inwardly: Heb. in their inward parts
5My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
6He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
7In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
8Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
9Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.62.9 altogether: or, alike
10Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
11God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.62.11 power: or, strength
12Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
