1ข้าแต่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า ข้าพระองค์ยกจิตวิญญาณของข้าพระองค์ขึ้นต่อพระองค์
2ข้าแต่พระเจ้าของข้าพระองค์ ข้าพระองค์วางใจในพระองค์
ขออย่าให้ข้าพระองค์อับอาย
ทั้งอย่าให้ศัตรูของข้าพระองค์มีชัยชนะเหนือข้าพระองค์
3ไม่มีผู้ใดที่หวังในพระองค์แล้วต้องละอาย
แต่ผู้ที่ทรยศโดยใช่เหตุนั้นจะต้องอับอาย
4ข้าแต่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า ขอทรงสำแดงหนทางของพระองค์แก่ข้าพระองค์
ขอทรงสอนวิถีของพระองค์แก่ข้าพระองค์
5ขอทรงนำข้าพระองค์ไปในความจริงของพระองค์และสอนข้าพระองค์
เพราะพระองค์ทรงเป็นพระเจ้าพระผู้ช่วยให้รอดของข้าพระองค์
และความหวังของข้าพระองค์อยู่ในพระองค์วันยังค่ำ
6ข้าแต่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า ขอทรงระลึกถึงพระกรุณาธิคุณและความรักอันยิ่งใหญ่ของพระองค์
ซึ่งพระองค์ได้สำแดงต่อข้าพระองค์เสมอมาตั้งแต่อดีต
7ขออย่าทรงระลึกถึงบาปทั้งหลาย
และการออกนอกลู่นอกทางในวัยหนุ่มของข้าพระองค์
ขอทรงระลึกถึงข้าพระองค์ตามความรักมั่นคงของพระองค์
ข้าแต่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าเพราะพระองค์ทรงแสนดี
8องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงแสนดีและเที่ยงธรรม
ดังนั้นพระองค์จึงทรงสอนทางของพระองค์แก่คนบาป
9พระองค์ทรงนำคนถ่อมใจให้ทำสิ่งที่ถูก
และทรงสอนทางของพระองค์แก่พวกเขา
10ทางทั้งสิ้นขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าเปี่ยมด้วยความรักเมตตาและความซื่อสัตย์
แก่บรรดาผู้ที่รักษากฎเกณฑ์แห่งพันธสัญญาของพระองค์
11ข้าแต่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า โดยเห็นแก่พระนามของพระองค์
ขอทรงอภัยความชั่วช้าของข้าพระองค์เถิด แม้มันจะใหญ่หลวง
12แล้วใครเล่าที่ยำเกรงองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า?
พระองค์จะทรงสอนพวกเขาถึงทางที่พวกเขาควรจะเลือก
13เขาจะมีชีวิตที่เจริญรุ่งเรือง
และลูกหลานของเขาจะได้รับแผ่นดินนั้นเป็นมรดก
14องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงวางใจในบรรดาผู้ที่ยำเกรงพระองค์
พระองค์ทรงยืนยันพันธสัญญาของพระองค์แก่คนเหล่านั้น
15ดวงตาของข้าพเจ้ามองที่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าเสมอ
เพราะพระองค์เท่านั้นที่จะทรงปลดบ่วงออกจากเท้าของข้าพเจ้า
16ขอทรงหันมาหาข้าพระองค์และเมตตาข้าพระองค์เถิด
เพราะข้าพระองค์ว้าเหว่และทุกข์ลำเค็ญ
17ขอทรงบรรเทาความทุกข์ร้อนในใจของข้าพระองค์
และขอทรงช่วยข้าพระองค์ให้หลุดพ้นจากความทุกข์ทรมาน
18ขอทรงทอดพระเนตรความลำเค็ญและความทุกข์ใจของข้าพระองค์
และขอทรงเอาบาปทั้งสิ้นของข้าพระองค์ออกไป
19ขอทรงทอดพระเนตรเถิดว่าศัตรูของข้าพระองค์เพิ่มขึ้นเพียงใด
และพวกเขาจงเกลียดจงชังข้าพระองค์ขนาดไหน!
20ขอทรงคุ้มครองและช่วยชีวิตข้าพระองค์
อย่าให้ข้าพระองค์ต้องอับอาย
เพราะข้าพระองค์ลี้ภัยอยู่ในพระองค์
21ขอให้ความซื่อสัตย์สุจริตและความเที่ยงธรรมคุ้มครองข้าพระองค์ไว้
เพราะความหวังของข้าพระองค์อยู่ในพระองค์
22ข้าแต่พระเจ้า ขอทรงไถ่อิสราเอล
จากความทุกข์ร้อนทั้งปวงของพวกเขา!

1Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
2O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
3Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
4Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
5Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
6Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.25.6 tender…: Heb. bowels
7Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O LORD.
8Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
9The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
10All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11For thy name’s sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
12What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.
13His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.25.13 dwell…: Heb. lodge in goodness
