Salmo 19Sal 19 En el texto hebreo 19:1-14 se numera 19:2-15.
Al director musical. Salmo de David.
1Los cielos cuentan la gloria de Dios;
la expansión proclama la obra de sus manos.
2Un día transmite el mensaje al otro día;
una noche a la otra comparte sabiduría.
3Sin palabras, sin lenguaje,
sin una voz perceptible,
4por toda la tierra resuena su eco;
sus palabras llegan hasta los confines del mundo.
Dios ha establecido en los cielos
un hogar para el sol.
5Y este, como novio que sale de la cámara nupcial,
se regocija, cual poderoso guerrero, al recorrer su camino.
6Sale de un extremo de los cielos
y, en su recorrido, llega al otro extremo,
sin que nada se libre de su calor.
7La Ley del Señor es perfecta:
infunde nuevo aliento.
El mandato del Señor es digno de confianza:
da sabiduría al sencillo.
8Los preceptos del Señor son rectos:
traen alegría al corazón.
El mandamiento del Señor es claro:
da luz a los ojos.
9El temor del Señor es puro:
permanece para siempre.
Las ordenanzas del Señor son verdaderas:
todas ellas son justas.
10Son más deseables que el oro,
más que mucho oro refinado;
son más dulces que la miel,
la miel que destila del panal.
11Por ellas queda advertido tu siervo;
quien las obedece recibe una gran recompensa.
12¿Quién está consciente de sus propios errores?
¡Perdóname aquellos de los que no estoy consciente!
13Libra, además, a tu siervo de pecar a sabiendas;
no permitas que tales pecados me dominen.
Entonces seré íntegro,
inocente de un gran pecado.
14Sean, pues, aceptables ante ti
mis palabras y mis meditaciones
oh Señor, mi roca y mi redentor.

1The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

4Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,19.4 line: or, rule, or, direction
5Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
6His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
7The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.19.7 law: or, doctrine19.7 converting: or, restoring
8The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.19.9 true: Heb. truth

11Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
12Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
13Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.19.13 the great: or, much
