Jertfa de pace
1Dacă ofranda cuiva este o jertfă de pace1, 3, 6, 9 Adesea tradus prin jertfă de comuniune sau jertfă de mulțumire, deoarece poartă și aceste sensuri. și dacă el o aduce din cireadă, animalul, mascul sau femelă, trebuie să fie fără meteahnă; așa să fie adus înaintea Domnului. 2Să pună mâna pe capul ofrandei sale și s‑o înjunghie la intrarea în Cortul Întâlnirii, iar preoții, fiii lui Aaron, să stropească sângele pe altar, de jur împrejur. 3Apoi, din această jertfă de pace, să aducă o jertfă mistuită de foc pentru Domnul. S‑o aducă din grăsimea care acoperă măruntaiele și din toată grăsimea din jurul măruntaielor, 4din cei doi rinichi cu grăsimea de pe ei și de pe coapse, precum și din membrana ficatului, pe care o va desprinde odată cu rinichii. 5Fiii lui Aaron să le ardă pe altar, deasupra arderii‑de‑tot care va fi pe lemnele de pe foc, ca o jertfă mistuită de foc de o aromă plăcută Domnului.
6Dacă ofranda lui ca jertfă de pace pentru Domnul este din turmă, să aducă un animal, mascul sau femelă, fără meteahnă. 7Dacă aduce ca ofrandă un miel, să‑l aducă înaintea Domnului, 8să‑și pună mâna pe capul ofrandei sale și s‑o înjunghie înaintea Cortului Întâlnirii, iar fiii lui Aaron să‑i stropească sângele pe altar, de jur împrejur. 9Apoi, din jertfa de pace, să aducă o jertfă mistuită de foc pentru Domnul. S‑o aducă din grăsime – și anume toată grăsimea cozii care va fi desprinsă de la șira spinării, grăsimea de pe măruntaie și toată grăsimea din jurul măruntaielor – 10din cei doi rinichi cu grăsimea de pe ei și de pe coapse, precum și din membrana ficatului, pe care o va desprinde odată cu rinichii. 11Apoi preotul să le ardă pe altar. Aceasta este o mâncare adusă ca jertfă mistuită de foc pentru Domnul.
12Dacă ofranda lui este o capră, atunci s‑o aducă înaintea Domnului, 13să‑și pună mâna pe capul ei și s‑o înjunghie înaintea Cortului Întâlnirii, iar fiii lui Aaron să stropească sângele pe altar, de jur împrejur. 14Apoi să aducă din ofranda sa o jertfă mistuită de foc pentru Domnul. S‑o aducă din grăsimea de pe măruntaie, din toată grăsimea din jurul măruntaielor, 15din cei doi rinichi cu grăsimea de pe ei și de pe coapse, precum și din membrana ficatului, pe care o va desprinde odată cu rinichii. 16Apoi preotul să le ardă pe altar ca o jertfă de mâncare mistuită de foc, de o aromă plăcută. Toată grăsimea este a Domnului.
17Aceasta să fie o hotărâre veșnică de‑a lungul generațiilor voastre, în toate locuințele voastre: să nu mâncați grăsimea și să nu consumați sângele17 Grăsimea aparținea Domnului și trebuia mistuită de foc. Sângele simboliza viața, care era sacră, trebuind tratată cu respect (vezi Gen. 9:4-6; Lev. 17:11)..»“
1And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the LORD. 2And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron’s sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about. 3And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,3.3 fat: or, suet 4And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.3.4 caul…: or, midriff over the liver, and over the kidneys 5And Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
6¶ And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the LORD be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish. 7If he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he offer it before the LORD. 8And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar. 9And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat thereof, and the whole rump, it shall he take off hard by the backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards, 10And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away. 11And the priest shall burn it upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire unto the LORD.
12¶ And if his offering be a goat, then he shall offer it before the LORD. 13And he shall lay his hand upon the head of it, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about. 14And he shall offer thereof his offering, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards, 15And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away. 16And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat is the LORD’s. 17It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.
