The thousand years
1And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. 2He seized the dragon, that ancient snake, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.
4I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They20:4 Or God; I also saw those who had not worshipped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5(The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. 6Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
The judgment of Satan
7When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth – Gog and Magog – and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. 9They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulphur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
The judgment of the dead
11Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. 14Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

Mao kini ang gibuhat ngadto sa dragon aron dili na kini makahimo sa pagpanglimbong sa mga tawo sa nagkalain-lain nga mga nasod sulod sa 1,000 ka tuig. Human nianang panahona buhian siya sa mubo lang nga panahon.
4Unya aduna akoy nakita nga mga trono. Ang nagalingkod niining mga trono gihatagan ug katungod sa paghukom. Ug nakita ko usab ang mga kalag sa mga tawo nga gipangpunggotan ug ulo tungod sa ilang pagsugilon sa pagtulon-an ni Jesus ug sa pulong sa Dios. Kini sila wala magsimba sa mananap o sa iyang rebulto. Wala usab sila magpamarka sa marka sa mananap diha sa ilang agtang o sa ilang mga kamot. Gipangbanhaw sila, ug gipadumala kauban ni Cristo sulod sa 1,000 ka tuig. 5Mao kini ang unang pagbanhaw. (Ang uban nga nangamatay wala banhawa samtang wala pa mahuman ang 1,000 ka tuig.) 6Bulahan kining katawhan sa Dios nga maapil sa una nga pagbanhaw. Wala nay gahom kanila ang ikaduha nga kamatayon. Mahimo silang mga pari sa Dios ug ni Cristo. Ug maghari sila uban ni Cristo sulod sa 1,000 ka tuig.
Ang Pagkapildi ni Satanas
7Human sa 1,000 ka tuig, buhian si Satanas gikan sa gibilanggoan kaniya. 8Mogawas siya aron limbongan ang mga nasod sa tibuok kalibotan, nga gitawag ug Gog ug Magog. Tigomon sila ni Satanas aron makig-away sa mga katawhan sa Dios. Ang iyang matigom nga mga tawo mahimong sama kadaghan sa balas sa baybayon nga dili maihap. 9Adtoon nila ang tanang dapit sa kalibotan. Libotan nila ang kampo sa katawhan sa Dios, nga mao ang siyudad nga gimahal sa Dios. Apan paulanan sila sa Dios ug kalayo nga gikan sa langit ug mangamatay silang tanan. 10Ug si Satanas nga nanglimbong kanila, itambog ngadto sa linaw nga kalayo nga may nagadilaab nga asupre, diin didto usab gitambog ang mananap ug ang mini nga propeta. Didto sakiton sila adlaw ug gabii sa walay kataposan.
Ang Kataposan nga Paghukom
11Unya aduna akoy nakita nga dakong trono nga puti, ug may nagalingkod didto. Giwala niya ang langit ug ang yuta, ug dili na kini makita pag-usab. 12Nakita ko usab ang mga nangamatay, inila man o dili, nga nagatindog sa atubangan sa trono. Gipang-ablihan ang mga libro, lakip ang libro nga gilistahan sa mga nakaangkon ug kinabuhi nga walay kataposan. Gihukman ang mga patay sumala sa ilang mga binuhatan nga nasulat didto sa maong mga libro. 13Nanggawas ang mga kalag niadtong nangamatay sa dagat o sa yuta gikan sa dapit sa mga patay. Ug silang tanan gihukman sumala sa ilang mga binuhatan. 14-15Human niini, ang kamatayon mismo ug ang dapit sa mga patay gitambog ngadto sa linaw nga kalayo. Ug si bisan kinsa kansang ngalan wala didto sa libro nga gilistahan sa mga nakaangkon ug kinabuhi nga walay kataposan gitambog ngadto sa linaw nga kalayo. Mao kini ang ginatawag nga ikaduhang kamatayon.
