Psalm 148
1Praise the Lord.148:1 Hebrew Hallelu Yah; also in verse 14
Praise the Lord from the heavens;
praise him in the heights above.
2Praise him, all his angels;
praise him, all his heavenly hosts.
3Praise him, sun and moon;
praise him, all you shining stars.
4Praise him, you highest heavens
and you waters above the skies.
5Let them praise the name of the Lord,
for at his command they were created,
6and he established them for ever and ever—
he issued a decree that will never pass away.
7Praise the Lord from the earth,
you great sea creatures and all ocean depths,
8lightning and hail, snow and clouds,
stormy winds that do his bidding,
9you mountains and all hills,
fruit trees and all cedars,
10wild animals and all cattle,
small creatures and flying birds,
11kings of the earth and all nations,
you princes and all rulers on earth,
12young men and women,
old men and children.
13Let them praise the name of the Lord,
for his name alone is exalted;
his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
14And he has raised up for his people a horn,148:14 Horn here symbolizes strength.
the praise of all his faithful servants,
of Israel, the people close to his heart.
Praise the Lord.

1ハレルヤ。天から主をほめたたえなさい。
2御使いたちよ、天の軍勢よ、賛美の声を上げなさい。
3太陽と月、輝く星たちもみな、主をほめたたえなさい。
4大空も、空の上にある水も、神をほめたたえなさい。
5造られたものがみな、主を賛美しますように。
みな、主のおことば一つででき上がったからです。
6これらは、いつまでも残るものとして造られました。
主の命令は、どんなことがあろうと、
取り消されはしません。
7海の底にいる生き物よ、主をほめたたえなさい。
8いなずま、雹、雪、雲、ご命令に従う嵐、
9山や丘、実のなる木や杉、
10野獣や家畜、小さな動物や鳥、
11諸国の王たちとその国民、それに支配者や裁判官、
12若い男や女、老人や子どもなど、
13みな声を合わせて、主をほめたたえなさい。
賛美を受けるのにふさわしいお方は、
主だけなのですから。
主の栄光は、天地の一切のものより、
はるかに尊いのです。
14主はご自分の民を強くし、
かけがえのないものとされた民イスラエルの名声を
大いに高めてくださいました。
ハレルヤ。主をほめたたえましょう。
