1Help, Lord, for no one is faithful anymore;
those who are loyal have vanished from the human race.
2Everyone lies to their neighbor;
they flatter with their lips
but harbor deception in their hearts.
3May the Lord silence all flattering lips
and every boastful tongue—
4those who say,
“By our tongues we will prevail;
our own lips will defend us—who is lord over us?”
5“Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan,
I will now arise,” says the Lord.
“I will protect them from those who malign them.”
6And the words of the Lord are flawless,
like silver purified in a crucible,

7You, Lord, will keep the needy safe
and will protect us forever from the wicked,
8who freely strut about
when what is vile is honored by the human race.

1Ràn wá lọ́wọ́, Olúwa, nítorí ẹni ìwà-bí-Ọlọ́run kò sí mọ́;
Olóòtítọ́ tí pòórá kúrò láàrín àwọn ènìyàn.
2Olúkúlùkù ń parọ́ fún aládùúgbò rẹ̀;
ètè èké wọn ń sọ ẹ̀tàn.
3Kí Olúwa kí ó gé ètè èké wọn
àti gbogbo ahọ́n ìfọ́nnu
4tí ó wí pé,
“Àwa ó borí pẹ̀lú ahọ́n wa;
àwa ní ètè wa: Ta ni ọ̀gá wa?”
5“Nítorí ìnilára àwọn aláìlágbára àti ìkérora àwọn aláìní,
Èmi yóò dìde nísinsin yìí” ni Olúwa wí.
“Èmi yóò dáàbò bò wọ́n lọ́wọ́ àwọn tí ń ṣe àrankàn wọn.”
6Ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa sì jẹ aláìlábùkù,
gẹ́gẹ́ bí fàdákà tí a yọ́ nínú ìléru amọ̀,
tí a sọ di mímọ́ nígbà méje.
7Olúwa, ìwọ yóò pa wá mọ́
kí o sì gbà wá lọ́wọ́ àwọn ènìyàn wọ̀nyí títí láé.
8Àwọn ènìyàn búburú ń rin ìrìn fáàrí kiri
nígbà tí wọn ń bọ̀wọ̀ fún òsì láàrín àwọn ènìyàn.
