а уста се безумника безумљем хране.
15Немили су сви дани невољника,
а човек се доброг срца гости непрестано.
16Боље је и мало у богобојазности,
него благо силно и са њим стрепња.
17Бољи је тањир поврћа у љубави,
него утовљени во у мржњи.
18Гневан човек распаљује свађу,
а смирени човек утишава сукоб.
19Пут ленштине је обрастао трњем,
а пут је честитих поравнан.
20Мудар син радује оца,
а безуман човек презире мајку своју.
21Безумника радује безумље,
а разборит човек равно иде путем.
22Науми се изјалове кад нема савета,
а остваре с мноштвом саветника.
23Човек се радује кад одговори тачно;
како је добра реч у право време!
24Стаза живота за разумног према горе води,
и не да му према доле, у Свет мртвих да скрене.
25Господ руши кућу гордих људи
и јача међу удовице.
26Намере зликовца гадне су Господу,
а чисте су му речи љубазности.
27Кући својој беду наваљује ко нечасно и лакомо стиче,
а живеће онај човек ком се мито гади.
28Срце праведника промишља одговор,
а уста покварених људи злом бљују.
29Господ је далеко од покварењака,
а слуша молитву праведника.
30Бистар поглед и срце весели,
а добре вести подмлађују кости.
31Ухо које слуша поуку живота,
трајаће у друштву мудрих људи.
32Ко не мари за опомену, презире сам себе,
а ко слуша укор стиче разборитост.
33Богобојазност је поука мудрости,
а пре части долази понизност.
