Job
1Then Job replied:
2“How you have helped the powerless!
How you have saved the arm that is feeble!
3What advice you have offered to one without wisdom!
And what great insight you have displayed!
4Who has helped you utter these words?
And whose spirit spoke from your mouth?
5“The dead are in deep anguish,
those beneath the waters and all that live in them.
6The realm of the dead is naked before God;
Destruction26:6 Hebrew Abaddon lies uncovered.
7He spreads out the northern skies over empty space;
he suspends the earth over nothing.
8He wraps up the waters in his clouds,
yet the clouds do not burst under their weight.
9He covers the face of the full moon,
spreading his clouds over it.
10He marks out the horizon on the face of the waters
for a boundary between light and darkness.
11The pillars of the heavens quake,
aghast at his rebuke.
12By his power he churned up the sea;
by his wisdom he cut Rahab to pieces.
13By his breath the skies became fair;
his hand pierced the gliding serpent.
14And these are but the outer fringe of his works;
how faint the whisper we hear of him!
Who then can understand the thunder of his power?”
Ang Tubag ni Job
1Unya mitubag si Job, 2“Pagkadako gayod sa tabang nga imong gikahatag kanako—ako nga huyang ug walay gahom! 3Pagkamaayo mong motambag kanakong walay kaalam! Pagkamaalamon mo gayod! 4Diin ba gikan kining imong gipanulti? Kang kinsang espiritu ang nagtudlo kanimo sa pagsulti niini?
5“Nagkurog sa kahadlok ang mga patay sa ilang nahimutangan didto ilalom sa tubig. 6Dayag gayod sa Dios ang dapit sa mga patay. Walay makatabon sa lugar sa kalaglagan. 7Ginabuklad sa Dios ang kalangitan sa amihan ibabaw sa hawan nga lugar, ug gisab-it niya ang kalibotan sa kawanangan. 8Ginaputos niya ang ulan sa bagang dag-om, apan ang dag-om wala mabusbos bisan bug-at kini. 9Ginatabonan niya sa dag-om ang takdol nga bulan.26:9 takdol nga bulan: o, trono. 10Naghimo siyag utlanan sa langit ug sa yuta, ingon man ang utlanan sa kahayag ug sa kangitngit. 11Sa iyang pagbadlong, mangatay-og ang mga pundasyon sa langit. 12Pinaagi sa iyang gahom gikutaw niya ang dagat, ug sa iyang kaalam gilaglag niya ang dragon nga si Rahab. 13Sa iyang paghuyop mohayag ang langit, ug sa iyang gahom gipatay niya ang nagaikyas nga dragon. 14Ginagmay lang kini sa iyang mga binuhatan. Daw hunghong lang kini nga atong madungog kaniya. Kinsa man karon ang makatugkad sa pagkagamhanan sa Dios?”
