የየነገዱ አሰፋፈር
1እግዚአብሔር (ያህዌ) ሙሴንና አሮንን እንዲህ አላቸው፤ 2“እስራኤላውያን ከምስክሩ ድንኳን ትይዩ ዙሪያውን ጥቂት ራቅ ብለው እያንዳንዱ ሰው በየዐርማውና በየቤተ ሰቡ ምልክት ሥር ይስፈር።”
3በምሥራቅ በኩል በፀሓይ መውጫ፤
የይሁዳ ምድብ፤ በየሰራዊቱና በዐርማቸው ሥር ይስፈር፤ የይሁዳ ሕዝብ አለቃ የአሚናዳብ ልጅ ነአሶን ነው፤ 4የሰራዊቱም ብዛት ሰባ አራት ሺሕ ስድስት መቶ ነው።
5ከእነዚህ ቀጥሎ የይሳኮር ነገድ ይሰፍራል፤ የይሳኮር ሕዝብ አለቃ የሶገር ልጅ ናትናኤል ሲሆን፣ 6የሰራዊቱም ብዛት አምሳ አራት ሺሕ አራት መቶ ነው።
7ከዚያም የዛብሎን ነገድ ይቀጥላል፤ የዛብሎን ሕዝብ አለቃ የኬሎን ልጅ ኤልያብ ሲሆን፣ 8የሰራዊቱም ብዛት አምሳ ሰባት ሺሕ አራት መቶ ነው።
9በየሰራዊታቸው ሆነው ከአይሁድ ምድብ የተመዘገቡ አንድ መቶ ሰማንያ ስድስት ሺሕ አራት መቶ ናቸው፤ እነዚህ አስቀድመው ይወጣሉ።
10በደቡብ በኩል፤
የሮቤል ምድብ ሰራዊት በዐርማቸው ሥር ይሆናል፤ የሮቤል ሕዝብ አለቃ የሰዲዮር ልጅ ኤሊሱር ሲሆን፣ 11የሰራዊቱም ብዛት አርባ ስድስት ሺሕ አምስት መቶ ነው።
12ከእነዚህ ቀጥሎ የስምዖን ነገድ ይሰፍራል፤ የስምዖን ሕዝብ አለቃ የሱሪሰዳይ ልጅ ሰለሚኤል ሲሆን፣ 13የሰራዊቱም ብዛት አምሳ ዘጠኝ ሺሕ ሦስት መቶ ነው።
14ከዚያም የጋድ ነገድ ይቀጥላል፤ የጋድ ሕዝብ አለቃ የራጉኤል2፥14 ብዙ የማሶሬቲክ፣ የኦሪት ሳምራውያንና የቩልጌት ቅጆች ጸዑኤል ይላሉ (ዘኍ 1፥14 ይመ)፤ አያሌ የማሶሬቲክ ቅጆች ግን ከዚህ ይስማማሉ። ልጅ ኤሊሳፍ ሲሆን፣ 15የሰራዊቱም ብዛት አርባ አምስት ሺሕ ስድስት መቶ አምሳ ነው።
16በየሰራዊታቸው ሆነው ከሮቤል ምድብ የተመዘገቡት ወንዶች በሙሉ አንድ መቶ አምሳ አንድ ሺሕ አራት መቶ አምሳ ናቸው፤ እነዚህ ቀጥለው ይመጣሉ።
17ከዚህ በኋላ የመገናኛው ድንኳንና የሌዋውያን ምድብ በመካከል ሆነው ይጓዛሉ፤ እያንዳንዳቸውም አሰፋፈራቸውን በመከተል ቦታቸውን ጠብቀው በዐርማቸው ሥር ይጓዛሉ።
18በምዕራብ በኩል፤
የኤፍሬም ምድብ ሰራዊት በዐርማቸው ሥር ይሆናል፤ የኤፍሬም ሕዝብ አለቃ የዓሚሁድ ልጅ ኤሊሳማ ሲሆን፣ 19የሰራዊቱም ብዛት አርባ ሺሕ አምስት መቶ ነው።
20ከእነዚህም የምናሴ ነገድ ይቀጥላል፣ የምናሴ ሕዝብ አለቃ የፍዳሱር ልጅ ገማልኤል ሲሆን፣ 21የሰራዊቱም ብዛት ሠላሳ ሁለት ሺሕ ሁለት መቶ ነው።
22ከዚያም የብንያም ነገድ ይቀጥላል፣ የብንያም ሕዝብ አለቃ የጋዴዮን ልጅ አቢዳን ሲሆን፣ 23የሰራዊቱም ብዛት ሠላሳ አምስት ሺሕ አራት መቶ ነው።
24በየሰራዊታቸው ሆነው ከኤፍሬም ምድብ የተመዘገቡት ወንዶች በሙሉ አንድ መቶ ስምንት ሺሕ አንድ መቶ ናቸው፤ እነዚህ ሦስተኛ ሆነው ይመጣሉ።
25በሰሜን በኩል፤
የዳን ምድብ ሰራዊት በዐርማው ሥር ይሆናል፤ የዳን ሕዝብ አለቃ የአሚሳዳይ ልጅ አኪዔዘር ሲሆን፣ 26የሰራዊቱም ብዛት ስድሳ ሁለት ሺሕ ሰባት መቶ ነው።
27የአሴር ነገድ ከእነዚህ ቀጥሎ ይሰፍራል፤ የአሴር ሕዝብ አለቃ የኤክራን ልጅ ፋግኤል ሲሆን፣ 28የሰራዊቱም ብዛት አርባ አንድ ሺሕ አምስት መቶ ነው።
29ከዚያም የንፍታሌም ነገድ ይቀጥላል፤ የንፍታሌም ሕዝብ አለቃ የዔናን ልጅ አኪሬ ሲሆን፣ 30የሰራዊቱም ብዛት አምሳ ሦስት ሺሕ አራት መቶ ነው።
31በየሰራዊታቸው ሆነው ከዳን ምድብ የተመዘገቡት ወንዶች ሁሉ አንድ መቶ አምሳ ሰባት ሺሕ ስድስት መቶ ናቸው፤ እነርሱም በዐርማቸው ሥር በመጨረሻ ይመጣሉ።
32በየቤተ ሰባቸው፣ በየምድባቸውና በየሰራዊታቸው የተመዘገቡት እስራኤላውያን ስድስት መቶ ሦስት ሺሕ አምስት መቶ አምሳ ናቸው፤ 33ያም ሆኖ ግን እግዚአብሔር (ያህዌ) ሙሴን ባዘዘው መሠረት ሌዋውያኑ ከሌሎቹ እስራኤላውያን ጋር አልተቈጠሩም።
34ስለዚህ እስራኤላውያን እግዚአብሔር (ያህዌ) ሙሴን ያዘዘውን ሁሉ አደረጉ፤ በየዐርማውም ሥር የሰፈሩትና፣ እያንዳንዳቸው በየጐሣቸውና በየቤተ ሰባቸው የተጓዙት በዚህ ሁኔታ ነበር።
The arrangement of the tribal camps
1The Lord said to Moses and Aaron: 2‘The Israelites are to camp round the tent of meeting some distance from it, each of them under their standard and holding the banners of their family.’
3On the east, towards the sunrise:
the divisions of the camp of Judah are to camp under their standard. The leader of the people of Judah is Nahshon son of Amminadab. 4His division numbers 74,600.
5The tribe of Issachar will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Issachar is Nethanel son of Zuar. 6His division numbers 54,400.
7The tribe of Zebulun will be next. The leader of the people of Zebulun is Eliab son of Helon. 8His division numbers 57,400.
9All the men assigned to the camp of Judah, according to their divisions, number 186,400. They will set out first.
10On the south will be:
the divisions of the camp of Reuben under their standard. The leader of the people of Reuben is Elizur son of Shedeur. 11His division numbers 46,500.
12The tribe of Simeon will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Simeon is Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai. 13His division numbers 59,300.
14The tribe of Gad will be next. The leader of the people of Gad is Eliasaph son of Deuel.2:14 Many manuscripts of the Masoretic Text, Samaritan Pentateuch and Vulgate (see also 1:14); most manuscripts of the Masoretic Text Reuel 15His division numbers 45,650.
16All the men assigned to the camp of Reuben, according to their divisions, number 151,450. They will set out second.
17Then the tent of meeting and the camp of the Levites will set out in the middle of the camps. They will set out in the same order as they set up camp, each in their own place under their standard.
18On the west will be:
the divisions of the camp of Ephraim under their standard. The leader of the people of Ephraim is Elishama son of Ammihud. 19His division numbers 40,500.
20The tribe of Manasseh will be next to them. The leader of the people of Manasseh is Gamaliel son of Pedahzur. 21His division numbers 32,200.
22The tribe of Benjamin will be next. The leader of the people of Benjamin is Abidan son of Gideoni. 23His division numbers 35,400.
24All the men assigned to the camp of Ephraim, according to their divisions, number 108,100. They will set out third.
25On the north will be:
the divisions of the camp of Dan under their standard. The leader of the people of Dan is Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai. 26His division numbers 62,700.
27The tribe of Asher will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Asher is Pagiel son of Okran. 28His division numbers 41,500.
29The tribe of Naphtali will be next. The leader of the people of Naphtali is Ahira son of Enan. 30His division numbers 53,400.
31All the men assigned to the camp of Dan number 157,600. They will set out last, under their standards.
32These are the Israelites, counted according to their families. All the men in the camps, by their divisions, number 603,550. 33The Levites, however, were not counted along with the other Israelites, as the Lord commanded Moses.
34So the Israelites did everything the Lord commanded Moses; that is the way they camped under their standards, and that is the way they set out, each of them with their clan and family.
