መዝሙር 110:1-7

መዝሙር 110

መሲሑ ንጉሥና ካህን

የዳዊት መዝሙር።

1እግዚአብሔር ጌታዬን፣

“ጠላቶችህን ለእግርህ መርገጫ፣

እስከማደርግልህ ድረስ፣

በቀኜ ተቀመጥ” አለው።

2እግዚአብሔር ብርቱ በትርህን ከጽዮን ወደ ውጭ ይሰድዳል፤

አንተም በጠላቶችህ መካከል ሆነህ ትገዛለህ።

3ለጦርነት በምትወጣበት ቀን፣

ሰራዊትህ በገዛ ፈቃዱ በጐንህ ይቆማል፤

ከንጋት ማሕፀን፣

በቅዱስ ግርማ ደምቀህ፣

የጕልማሳነትህን ልምላሜ110፥3 ወይም ጐልማሶችህ እንደ ንጋት ወዳንተ ይመጣሉ ማለት ነው። እንደ ጠል ትቀበላለህ።

4“እንደ መልከጼዴቅ ሥርዐት፤

አንተ ለዘላለም ካህን ነህ” ብሎ፣

እግዚአብሔር ምሏል፤

እርሱ ሐሳቡን አይለውጥም።

5ጌታ በቀኝህ ነው፤

በቍጣውም ቀን ነገሥታትን ያደቅቃቸዋል።

6በሕዝቦች መካከል ይፈርዳል፤

በየአገሩ ያሉትንም ራሶች ከስክሶ ሬሳ በሬሳ ያደርጋቸዋል።

7መንገድ110፥7 ወይም ሥልጣን ለመስጠት ኀይል ያለው ሥልጣን ላይ ያስቀምጠዋል ዳር ካለች ፈሳሽ ውሃ ይጠጣል፤

ስለዚህ ራሱን ቀና ያደርጋል።

Psalms 110:1-7

Psalm 110

Of David. A psalm.

1The Lord says to my lord:110:1 Or Lord

“Sit at my right hand

until I make your enemies

a footstool for your feet.”

2The Lord will extend your mighty scepter from Zion, saying,

“Rule in the midst of your enemies!”

3Your troops will be willing

on your day of battle.

Arrayed in holy splendor,

your young men will come to you

like dew from the morning’s womb.110:3 The meaning of the Hebrew for this sentence is uncertain.

4The Lord has sworn

and will not change his mind:

“You are a priest forever,

in the order of Melchizedek.”

5The Lord is at your right hand110:5 Or My lord is at your right hand, Lord;

he will crush kings on the day of his wrath.

6He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead

and crushing the rulers of the whole earth.

7He will drink from a brook along the way,110:7 The meaning of the Hebrew for this clause is uncertain.

and so he will lift his head high.
