1Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

Apan ang uban mahibilin diha sa siyudad. 3Unya makiggira ang Ginoo batok niadtong mga nasora, sama sa pagpakiggira niya kaniadto. 4Nianang adlawa, motindog siya sa Bukid sa mga Olibo, nga anaa sa sidlakang bahin sa Jerusalem. Mapikas kini nga bukid ug matunga gikan sa sidlakan ngadto sa kasadpan. Ang katunga sa bukid masibog ngadto sa amihan ug ang laing katunga masibog ngadto sa habagatan. Busa mahimong lapad kaayo nga kapatagan ang taliwala niini. 5Mangikyas kamo pinaagi niini nga kapatagan, kay kini makaabot man hangtod sa Azal. Moikyas kamo sama sa gihimo sa inyong mga katigulangan sa dihang milinog sa panahon ni Haring Uzia sa Juda. Ug moabot ang Ginoo nga akong Dios uban sa tanan niyang mga anghel. 6Nianang adlawa walay init ug tugnaw. 7Pinasahi kini nga adlaw, kay walay gabii kondili kanunay lang adlaw. Ang Ginoo lang ang nakahibalo kon kanus-a kini mahitabo.
8Niana usab nga adlaw, motubod ang preskong tubig gikan sa Jerusalem. Ang katunga niini modagayday ngadto sa Patay nga Dagat14:8 Patay nga Dagat: sa Hebreo, dagat sa sidlakan. ug ang katunga ngadto sa Dagat sa Mediteraneo.14:8 Dagat sa Mediteraneo: sa Hebreo, dagat sa kasadpan. Magpadayon kini sa pagtubod sa ting-init ug sa ting-ulan. 9Ang Ginoo ang mahimong hari sa tibuok kalibotan. Siya lang ang ilhon nga Dios ug wala nay lain pa.
10-11Mahimong patag ang tibuok yuta gikan sa Geba sa amihan paingon sa Rimon sa habagatan sa Jerusalem. Apan magpabilin nga habog ang Jerusalem sa iyang nahimutangan.
