8¶ If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherds’ tents. 9I have compared thee, O my love, to a company of horses in Pharaoh’s chariots. 10Thy cheeks are comely with rows of jewels, thy neck with chains of gold. 11We will make thee borders of gold with studs of silver.

7내가 사랑하는 님이시여, 오늘은 당신이 양떼를 어디서 먹이며 정오에는 어디에서 쉬는지 말해 주세요. 어째서 내가 이리저리 방황하며 당신 친구들의 양떼 가운데서 당신을 찾아야 합니까?
