9For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.
10Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
11Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

شكوه خداوند
1خداوند سلطنت می‌كند، پس ای ساكنان زمين شادی كنيد و ای جزيره‌های دور دست خوشحال باشيد.
2ابرها و تاريكی، اطراف خداوند را گرفته‌اند. سلطنتش بر عدل و انصاف استوار است. 3آتش، پيشاپيش خداوند می‌رود و دشمنان او را می‌سوزاند. 4برق‌هايش دنيا را روشن می‌سازد. زمين اين را می‌بيند و می‌لرزد. 5کوهها از هيبت حضور خداوند تمام جهان، مانند موم ذوب می‌شوند. 6آسمانها عدالت او را بيان می‌كنند و همهٔ قومها شكوه و جلال وی را می‌بينند.
7همهٔ بت‌پرستان كه به بتهای خود فخر می‌كنند، شرمسار خواهند شد. ای همهٔ خدايان، در مقابل خداوند به زانو بيفتيد و او را بپرستيد! 8-9ای خداوند، شهر اورشليم و همهٔ مردم يهودا به سبب سلطنت عادلانهٔ تو خوشحال هستند. زيرا تو بر تمام دنيا با عدل و انصاف حكمرانی می‌كنی و از همهٔ خدايان برتر هستی.
10خداوند آنانی را كه از بدی متنفرند دوست دارد. او عزيزان خود را حفظ می‌كند و ايشان را از دست بدكاران می‌رهاند. 11نور بر نيكان می‌تابد و شادی بر پاكدلان. 12ای درستكاران به سبب آنچه كه خداوند انجام داده است شادی كنيد. آری، كارهای خدای مقدس را به ياد آريد و او را سپاس گوييد.
