سرود پرستش
1بياييد خداوند را ستايش كنيم و در وصف «صخرهٔ» نجات خود، با شادی سرود بخوانيم! 2با شكرگزاری به حضور او بياييم و با سرودهای شاد او را بپرستيم! 3زيرا خداوند، خدای عظيمی است؛ او پادشاهی است كه بر همهٔ خدايان فرمان می‌راند. 4اعماق زمين در دست خداوند است و بلندی و عظمت کوهها از آن او می‌باشد. 5آبها و خشكی‌ها را خدا بوجود آورده و آنها به او تعلق دارند.
6بياييد در برابر خدا، سر فرود آوريم و او را عبادت كنيم. بياييد در حضور آفرينندهٔ خود زانو بزنيم. 7ما قوم او هستيم و او خدای ما، ما گلهٔ او هستيم و او شبان ما. ای كاش امروز صدای خداوند را بشنويد كه می‌فرمايد: 8«سختدل و نامطيع نباشيد چنانكه اجداد شما در صحرای مريبا و مسا نامطيع شدند.95:8 نگاه کنيد به خروج 17:1-7. 9در آنجا، اجداد شما، هر چند بارها معجزات و اعمال شگفت‌انگيز مرا ديدند، اما باز به من شک كردند. 10مدت چهل سال، از آنها محزون و بيزار بودم، زيرا دل و فكرشان از من دور بود و نمی‌خواستند دستوراتم را اطاعت نمايند 11تا اينكه خشمگين شده، قسم خوردم كه نگذارم وارد سرزمينی شوند كه وعده داده بودم در آن آرام و قرار بگيرند.»
