A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance.
1O LORD, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
2For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand presseth me sore.
3There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.38.3 rest: Heb. peace, or, health
4For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.
5My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.
6I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.38.6 troubled: Heb. wried
7For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.
8I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.
9Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.
10My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.38.10 is gone…: Heb. is not with me
11My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand afar off.38.11 sore: Heb. stroke38.11 my kinsmen: or, my neighbours
12They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.
13But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.
14Thus I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.
15For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.38.15 in…: or, thee do I wait for38.15 hear: or, answer
16For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.
17For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.38.17 to halt: Heb. for halting
18For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
19But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.38.19 are lively…: Heb. being living, are strong
20They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.
21Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.

زەبوورێکی داود، بۆ یادکردنەوە.
1ئەی یەزدان، بە تووڕەیی خۆت سەرزەنشتم مەکە،
بە ڕقی خۆت تەمبێم مەکە.
2تیرەکانت منیان پێکا،
دەستت منی خستە خوارەوە.
3بەهۆی تووڕەیی تۆوە تەندروستی لە لەشمدا نەماوە،
بەهۆی گوناهمەوە ساغی لە ئێسقانەکانمدا نەماوە.
4تاوانەکانم بەسەر سەرم کەوتوون،
وەک بارێکی گران کە توانام نییە هەڵیبگرم.
5برینەکانم بۆگەن بوون و چڵکیان کردووە،
بەهۆی گێلایەتی خۆم.
6پشتم چەماوەتەوە و کووڕ بوومەتەوە،
بە درێژایی ڕۆژ ماتەم دەگێڕم.
7کەلەکەم38:7 قەبرغەم. پڕ بووە لە ژانێکی سووتێنەر،
تەندروستی لە لەشمدا نەماوە.
8بە تەواوی تێکشکاوم و بێهێز بووم،
لەبەر نەهامەتی دڵم هەر دەناڵێنم.
9ئەی پەروەردگار، هەموو ئارەزووەکانم لەپێش چاوتە،
ئاخ هەڵکێشانم لە تۆ شاردراوە نییە.
10دڵەکوتێمە و هێزم لەبەر بڕاوە،
تەنانەت ڕووناکیش لە چاوانم بڕاوە.
11لەبەر برینەکانم دۆست و برادەرەکانم خۆیان لێم دەپارێزن،
خزمانم لێم دوور دەکەونەوە.
12ئەوانەی بەدوای ژیانی منەوەن تەڵە دەنێنەوە،
ئەوانەی دەیانەوێت ئازارم بدەن باسی تێکشکانم دەکەن،
بە درێژایی ڕۆژ بیر لە فرتوفێڵ دەکەنەوە.
13بەڵام من وەک کەڕ وام، گوێم لێ نابێت،
وەک لاڵ وام، ناتوانم دەمم بکەمەوە.
14وەک کەسێکم لێ هاتووە کە نابیستێت،
هیچ بەهانەیەکیشی لە دەمی نەبێت.
15ئەی یەزدان، چاوەڕێی تۆ دەکەم،
ئەی خودای پەروەردگارم، تۆ وەڵام دەدەیتەوە،
16چونکە گوتم: «مەهێڵە پێم دڵخۆش بن،
یان کاتێک پێم دەخلیسکێت خۆیان بە گەورە بزانن لە سەرم.»
17خەریکە دەکەوم،
هەمیشە ئازارەکانم لەگەڵمە.
18دان بە تاوانی خۆمدا دەنێم،
بە گوناهی خۆم خەمبار دەبم.
19دوژمن چالاک و بەهێزن،
ئەوانەی بەبێ هۆ ڕقیان لێمە زۆرن.
20ئەوانەی بەرامبەری چاکە خراپەم دەدەنەوە،
دژایەتیم دەکەن، چونکە دوای چاکە کەوتووم.
21ئەی یەزدان، پشتگوێم مەخە،
ئەی خودای من، لێم دوور مەکەوە.
22ئەی پەروەردگاری ڕزگارکەرم،
خێرا بگە فریام.
