4Munthu waulesi amakhumbira zinthu koma sapeza kanthu,
koma munthu wakhama adzalemera.
5Munthu wolungama amadana ndi zabodza,
koma zochita za munthu woyipa zimanyansa ndiponso zimachititsa manyazi.
6Chilungamo chimateteza munthu wangwiro,
koma tchimo limagwetsa munthu wochimwa.
7Wina amadziyesa kuti ndi wolemera chonsecho alibe kanthu kalikonse;
munthu wina amaoneka ngati wosauka chonsecho ali ndi chuma chambiri.
8Chuma cha munthu wolemera chitha kuwombola moyo wake,
koma munthu wosauka amamva chidzudzulo.
9Nyale ya munthu wolungama ndi yokondweretsa,
koma nyale ya munthu woyipa imazimitsidwa.
10Chipongwe chosamalabadirako za anthu ena chimadzetsa mikangano,
koma womva malangizo a anzawo ndiwo ali ndi nzeru.
11Chuma chochipeza mofulumira chidzatha pangʼonopangʼono
koma chuma chosonkhanitsidwa pangʼonopangʼono chidzachulukirachulukira.
12Chinthu chochiyembekezera chikalephereka chimalefula mtima,
koma chinthu chochilakalaka chikachitikadi chimakhala ngati mtengo wamoyo.
13Amene amanyoza malangizo adzawonongeka,
koma amene amasamala lamulo amalandira mphotho.
14Malangizo a munthu wanzeru ali ngati kasupe wamoyo;
amathandiza munthu kuti asakondwe mu msampha wa imfa.
15Munthu wa nzeru zabwino amapeza kuyanja pakati pa anthu,
koma munthu wosakhulupirika adzawonongeka.
16Munthu wochenjera amachita zinthu mwanzeru,
koma chitsiru chimaonetsa poyera uchitsiru wake.
17Wamthenga woyipa amagwetsa anthu mʼmavuto,
koma nthumwi yodalirika imabweretsa mtendere.
18Wokana mwambo adzasauka ndi kunyozedwa,
koma wosamala chidzudzulo adzalemekezedwa.
19Chinthu chochilakalaka chikachitika chimasangalatsa mtima,
koma zitsiru zimadana ndi kuleka zoyipa.
20Woyenda ndi anthu anzeru nayenso adzakhala wanzeru;
koma woyenda ndi zitsiru adzapwetekeka.
21Choyipa chitsata mwini,
koma wochita zolungama adzalandira mphotho yabwino.
22Munthu wabwino amasiyira zidzukulu zake cholowa,
koma chuma cha munthu wochimwa amachilandira ndi olungama.
23Tsala la munthu wosauka limalola chakudya chambiri,
koma anthu opanda chilungamo amachilanda.
24Amene sakwapula mwana wake, ndiye kuti amamuda,
koma wokonda mwana wake sazengereza kumulanga.
25Munthu wolungama amakhala ndi zakudya zoti adye nʼkukhuta,
koma mʼmimba mwa munthu woyipa mumakhala pululu ndi njala.
