Isaiah 6:1-13

9¶ And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.6.9 indeed, but understand: or, without ceasing, etc: Heb. in hearing, etc 10Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. 11Then said I, Lord, how long? ኢሳይያስ 6:1-13

የኢሳይያስ ተልእኮ

1ንጉሥ ዖዝያን በሞተበት ዓመት እግዚአብሔርን ከፍ ባለና በከበረ ዙፋን ላይ ተቀምጦ አየሁት፤ የልብሱም ዘርፍ ቤተ መቅደሱን ሞልቶት ነበር። 2ሱራፌልም ከእርሱ በላይ ቆመው ነበር፤ እያንዳንዳቸውም ስድስት ክንፍ ነበራቸው። በሁለት ክንፍ ፊታቸውን ይሸፍኑ ነበር፤ በሁለት ክንፍ እግራቸውን ይሸፍኑ ነበር፤ በሁለቱም ክንፍ ይበርሩ ነበር፤ 3እርስ በርሳቸው በመቀባበልም፣

“ቅዱስ፣ ቅዱስ፣ ቅዱስ የሰራዊት ጌታ እግዚአብሔር

ምድር ሁሉ በክብሩ ተሞልታለች”

ይሉ ነበር። 4ከድምፃቸው ጩኸት የተነሣ የመድረኩ መሠረት ተናወጠ፤ ቤተ መቅደሱም በጢስ ተሞላ።

5እኔም፣ “ከንፈሮቼ የረከሱብኝ ሰው ነኝ፤ የምኖረውም ከንፈሮቹ በረከሱበት ሕዝብ መካከል ነው፤ ዐይኖቼም ንጉሡን፣ የሰራዊት ጌታ እግዚአብሔርን አይተዋልና ጠፍቻለሁ፣ ወዮልኝ!” አልሁ።

6ከዚያም ከሱራፌል አንዱ፣ ከመሠዊያው ላይ የእሳት ፍም በጕጠት ወስዶ፣ ወደ እኔ እየበረረ መጣ። 7አፌንም በእሳቱ ነክቶ፣ “እነሆ፤ ይህ ከንፈሮችህን ነክቷል፤ በደልህ ተወግዶልሃል፤ ኀጢአትህም ተሰርዮልሃል” አለኝ።

8ከዚያም የጌታ ድምፅ፣ “ማንን እልካለሁ? ማንስ ይሄድልናል?” ሲል ሰማሁት።

እኔም፣ “እነሆኝ፤ እኔን ላከኝ” አልሁ።

9እርሱም እንዲህ አለኝ፤ “ወደዚህ ሕዝብ ሂድ፤

“ ‘መስማትን ትሰማላችሁ፤ ነገር ግን አታስተውሉም፤

ማየትንም ታያላችሁ፤ ነገር ግን ልብ አትሉም’ ብለህ ንገራቸው።

10የዚህን ሕዝብ ልብ አደንድን፤

ጆሯቸውን ድፈን፤

ዐይኖቻቸውንም ክደን፤

ይህ ካልሆነማ፣

በዐይናቸው አይተው፣ በጆሯቸው ሰምተው፣

በልባቸውም አስተውለው

በመመለስ ይፈወሳሉ።”

11እኔም፣ “ጌታ ሆይ፤ ይህ የሚሆነው እስከ መቼ ነው?” አልሁት፤

እርሱም መልሶ እንዲህ አለኝ፤

“ከተሞች እስኪፈራርሱና

የሚኖሩባቸው እስኪያጡ፣

ቤቶችም ወና እስኪሆኑና

ምድርም ፈጽሞ ባድማ እስክትሆን ድረስ፤

12እግዚአብሔርም ሰዎችን እስከሚያርቅ፣

ምድሪቱም ጨርሶ ባዶ እስክትሆን፣

13ከዐሥር አንድ ሰው እንኳ በምድሪቱ ቢቀር፣

እርሱም ደግሞ ይጠፋል፤

ነገር ግን የኮምበልና የባሉጥ ዛፍ በተቈረጠ

ጊዜ ጕቶ እንደሚቀር፣

ቅዱሱም ዘር እንዲሁ በምድሪቱ ጕቶ ሆኖ ይቀራል።”
