15¶ Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness! 16Thou art filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD’s right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory.2.16 with…: or, more with shame than with glory 17For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them afraid, because of men’s blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.

1በመጠበቂያዬ ላይ እቆማለሁ፤
በምሽጉ ቅጥር ላይ ወጥቼ እቈያለሁ፤
ምን እንደሚለኝ፣
ለክርክሩም2፥1 ወይም በተገሠጽሁ ጊዜ የምሰጠውን ምላሽ የምሰጠውን መልስ ለማወቅ እጠባበቃለሁ።
የእግዚአብሔር መልስ
2እግዚአብሔርም እንዲህ ሲል መለሰ፤
“በቀላሉ እንዲነበብ፣
ራእዩን ጻፈው፤
በሰሌዳም ላይ ቅረጸው።
3ራእዩ የተወሰነለትን ጊዜ ይጠብቃልና፤
ስለ መጨረሻውም ይናገራል፤
እርሱም አይዋሽም፤
የሚዘገይ ቢመስልም ጠብቀው፤
በርግጥ ይመጣል2፥3 የሚመጣ ሰው እንዳለ የሚያመለክቱ አሉ።፤ ከቶም አይዘገይም።
4“እነሆ፤ እርሱ ታብዮአል፤
ምኞቱ ቀና አይደለም፤
ጻድቅ ግን በእምነት2፥4 በታማኝነቱ የሚሉ አሉ። ይኖራል።
5በርግጥ የወይን ጠጅ አታልሎታል፤
ትዕቢተኛ ነው፤ ከቶ አያርፍም፤
እንደ ሲኦል2፥5 መቃብር የሚሉ አሉ። ስስታም ነው፣
እንደ ሞት ከቶ አይጠግብም፤
ሕዝቦችን ለራሱ ይሰበስባል፤
ሰዎችንም ሁሉ ማርኮ ይወስዳል።
6“ታዲያ በእንደዚህ ዐይነቱ ሰው ላይ በማፌዝና በመዘበት እንዲህ እያሉ ሁሉም አይሣለቁበትምን?
“ ‘የተሰረቀውን ሸቀጥ ለራሱ ለሚያከማች፣
ራሱን በዐመፅ ባለጠጋ ለሚያደርግ ወዮለት!
ይህ የሚቀጥለውስ እስከ መቼ ነው?’
7ባለ ዕዳ ያደረግሃቸው ድንገት አይነሡብህምን?
ነቅተውስ አያስደነግጡህምን?
በእጃቸውም ትወድቃለህ።
8አንተ ብዙ ሕዝብ ስለ ዘረፍህ፣
የተረፉት ሕዝቦች ይዘርፉሃል፤
የሰው ደም አፍስሰሃልና፤
አገሮችንና ከተሞችን፣ በውስጣቸው የሚኖሩትን ሁሉ አጥፍተሃል።
9“በተጭበረበረ ትርፍ መኖሪያውን ለሚገነባ፣
ከጠላት እጅ ለማምለጥ፣
ቤቱን በከፍታ ላይ ለሚሠራ ወዮለት!
10የብዙ ሰዎች ነፍስ እንዲጠፋ አሢረሃል፤
በገዛ ቤትህ ላይ ውርደትን፣ በራስህም ላይ ጥፋትን አምጥተሃል።
11ድንጋይ ከቅጥሩ ውስጥ ይጮኻል፤
ከዕንጨት የተሠሩ ተሸካሚዎችም ይመልሱለታል።
12“ከተማን ደም በማፍሰስ ለሚሠራ፣
በወንጀልም ለሚመሠርታት ወዮለት።
13ሰዎች፣ ለእሳት ማገዶ እንዲሆን እንዲለፉ፣
ሕዝቦችም በከንቱ እንዲደክሙ፣
እግዚአብሔር ጸባኦት ወስኖ የለምን?
14ውሃ ባሕርን እንደሚሸፍን ሁሉ፣
ምድርም የእግዚአብሔርን ክብር በማወቅ ትሞላለችና።
15“ኀፍረተ ሥጋቸውን ለማየት፣
ባልንጀሮቹን ለሚያጠጣ፣
እስኪሰክሩም ድረስ ወይን ለሚቀዳላቸው ወዮለት!
16በክብር ፈንታ ዕፍረት ትሞላለህ፤
አሁን ደግሞ ተራው የአንተ ነውና፤ ጠጣ፤ ኀፍረተ ሥጋህም ይገለጥ፤
በእግዚአብሔር ቀኝ እጅ ያለው ጽዋ ይመለስብሃል፤
ክብርህንም ውርደት ይሸፍነዋል።
17በሊባኖስ ላይ የሠራኸው ግፍ ያጥለቀልቅሃል፤
እንስሳቱን ማጥፋትህም ያስደነግጥሃል፤
የሰው ደም አፍስሰሃልና፤
አገሮችንና ከተሞችን በውስጣቸው የሚኖሩትንም ሁሉ አጥፍተሃልና።
18“የሰው እጅ የቀረጸው ጣዖት፣
ሐሰትንም የሚናገር ምስል ምን ፋይዳ አለው?
ሠሪው በገዛ እጁ ሥራ ይታመናልና፣
መናገር የማይችሉ ጣዖታትን ይሠራልና።
19ዕንጨቱን፣ ‘ንቃ!’
ሕይወት የሌለውንም ድንጋይ፣ ‘ተነሣ!’ ለሚል ወዮለት፤
በውኑ ማስተማር ይችላልን?
እነሆ፤ በወርቅና በብር ተለብጧል፤
እስትንፋስም የለውም።”
20እግዚአብሔር ግን በተቀደሰ መቅደሱ አለ፣
ምድር ሁሉ በፊቱ ጸጥ ትበል።
