1Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;) 2And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia: 3Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, 4Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: 5To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
6I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
10For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. 11But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. 13For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: 14And profited in the Jews’ religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers. 15But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, 16To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: 17Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. 18Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. 19But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s brother. 20Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not. 21Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia; 22And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ: 23But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed. 24And they glorified God in me.

3ขอพระคุณและสันติสุขจากพระเจ้าพระบิดาของเราและจากองค์พระเยซูคริสต์เจ้ามีแก่ท่านทั้งหลาย 4พระเยซูทรงสละพระองค์เองเพื่อบาปของเราทั้งหลาย ทั้งนี้เพื่อช่วยเราจากยุคอันชั่วร้ายนี้ตามพระประสงค์ของพระเจ้าและพระบิดาของเรา 5ขอถวายพระเกียรติสิริแด่พระองค์สืบๆ ไปเป็นนิตย์ อาเมน
ไม่มีข่าวประเสริฐอื่น
6ข้าพเจ้าประหลาดใจที่ท่านทั้งหลายทิ้งพระองค์ผู้ทรงเรียกท่านโดยพระคุณของพระคริสต์ไปอย่างรวดเร็ว และหันไปหาข่าวประเสริฐอื่น 7ซึ่งไม่ใช่ข่าวประเสริฐเลย เห็นได้ชัดว่าบางคนกำลังทำให้ท่านสับสนวุ่นวายและพยายามบิดเบือนข่าวประเสริฐของพระคริสต์ 8ไม่ว่าเราหรือทูตสวรรค์ หากประกาศข่าวประเสริฐอื่นซึ่งต่างจากข่าวประเสริฐที่เราได้ประกาศแก่ท่าน ขอให้ผู้นั้นถูกสาปแช่งชั่วนิรันดร์! 9ดังที่เราได้บอกไว้แล้ว บัดนี้ข้าพเจ้าขอกล่าวย้ำอีกครั้งว่าหากใครประกาศข่าวประเสริฐอื่นแก่ท่านนอกเหนือจากที่ท่านได้รับไว้แล้ว ขอให้ผู้นั้นถูกสาปแช่งชั่วนิรันดร์!
10นี่ข้าพเจ้ากำลังมุ่งให้มนุษย์หรือพระเจ้ายอมรับกันแน่? หรือว่าข้าพเจ้ากำลังพยายามทำให้มนุษย์พอใจ? หากข้าพเจ้ากำลังพยายามทำให้มนุษย์พอใจ ข้าพเจ้าก็ไม่ใช่ผู้รับใช้ของพระคริสต์

11พี่น้องทั้งหลาย ข้าพเจ้าอยากให้ท่านทราบว่าข่าวประเสริฐที่ข้าพเจ้าประกาศนั้นไม่ใช่เรื่องที่มนุษย์แต่งขึ้น 12ข้าพเจ้าไม่ได้รับข่าวประเสริฐนี้จากมนุษย์คนใดหรือมีคนมาสอน แต่รับการทรงสำแดงจากพระเยซูคริสต์
13ในเมื่อท่านก็ทราบว่าเมื่อก่อนขณะยังถือศาสนายิวข้าพเจ้าใช้ชีวิตอย่างไร ข้าพเจ้าได้ข่มเหงคริสตจักรของพระเจ้าอย่างรุนแรงและพยายามจะทำลายให้สิ้น 14เมื่ออยู่ในศาสนายิวข้าพเจ้าก้าวหน้ากว่าพี่น้องยิวหลายคนในรุ่นเดียวกัน และหัวรุนแรงอย่างยิ่งในการยึดถือประเพณีตามบรรพบุรุษของข้าพเจ้า 15แต่เมื่อพระเจ้าทรงเลือกข้าพเจ้าไว้ตั้งแต่กำเนิด1:15 หรืออยู่ในครรภ์มารดา และทรงเรียกข้าพเจ้าโดยพระคุณของพระองค์ พระองค์พอพระทัย 16ที่จะสำแดงพระบุตรของพระองค์ในข้าพเจ้า เพื่อให้ข้าพเจ้าประกาศพระบุตรนั้นท่ามกลางชาวต่างชาติ ข้าพเจ้าก็ไม่ได้ปรึกษามนุษย์คนใด 17ทั้งไม่ได้ขึ้นไปยังกรุงเยรูซาเล็มเพื่อพบบรรดาคนที่เป็นอัครทูตก่อนข้าพเจ้า แต่ข้าพเจ้าตรงไปยังประเทศอาระเบียทันที และภายหลังได้กลับมายังเมืองดามัสกัส
18สามปีต่อมาข้าพเจ้าขึ้นไปกรุงเยรูซาเล็มเพื่อทำความรู้จักกับเปโตร1:18 ภาษากรีกว่าเคฟาส และพักอยู่กับเขาสิบห้าวัน 19ข้าพเจ้าไม่ได้พบอัครทูตคนอื่นๆ เลยนอกจากยากอบน้องขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า 20ข้าพเจ้าขอยืนยันต่อหน้าพระเจ้าว่าที่เขียนมานี้ไม่ได้โกหก 21หลังจากนั้นข้าพเจ้าไปยังเขตแดนซีเรียและซิลีเซีย 22คริสตจักรต่างๆ ในพระคริสต์ที่แคว้นยูเดียไม่รู้จักข้าพเจ้าเป็นการส่วนตัว 23พวกเขาเพียงแต่ได้ข่าวว่า “คนที่แต่ก่อนเคยข่มเหงเราเดี๋ยวนี้ประกาศความเชื่อซึ่งครั้งหนึ่งเขาเคยพยายามทำลาย” 24และพวกเขาสรรเสริญพระเจ้าเนื่องด้วยข้าพเจ้า
