11¶ For thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee. 12By the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall, the terrible of the nations, all of them: and they shall spoil the pomp of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed. 13I will destroy also all the beasts thereof from beside the great waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them. 14Then will I make their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, saith the Lord GOD. 15When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, and the country shall be destitute of that whereof it was full, when I shall smite all them that dwell therein, then shall they know that I am the LORD.32.15 destitute…: Heb. desolate from the fulness thereof 16This is the lamentation wherewith they shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for her, even for Egypt, and for all her multitude, saith the Lord GOD.

Kutawon mo sa imo nga tiil ang tubig ug malubog kini. 3Karon, mao kini ang ginaingon sa Ginoo nga Dios: Dakpon ko ikaw sa pukot ug ipahaw-as sa daghang mga tawo. 4Ilabay ko ikaw sa yuta ug ipakaon sa mga langgam ug sa ihalas nga mga mananap. 5Katagon ko ang imo nga mga unod ngadto sa kabukiran ug sa kapatagan. 6Pabanawon ko ang imo nga dugo nganha sa yuta ug ngadto sa kabukiran ug sa mga agianan sa tubig. 7Kon wagtangon ko na ikaw, salipdan ko sa mga panganod ang langit, busa dili na mohayag ang mga bitoon, ang adlaw, ug ang bulan. 8Pangitngiton ko ang tanang nagasiga sa langit. Busa mo ngaitngit gyud ang tibuok mo nga nasod. Ako, ang Ginoo nga Dios, ang nagaingon niini.
9“Mahasol ang katawhan sa mga nasod nga wala mo maila sa higayon nga laglagon ko ikaw. 10Daghang mga nasod ang akong palisangon sa mahitabo kanimo, apil ang ilang mga hari magkurog sa kalisang. Magkurog gyud sa kalisang ang matag usa kanila sa higayon nga iwara-wara ko ang akong espada sa ilang atubangan sa panahon sa imo nga pagkapukan. 11Ako, ang Ginoo nga Dios, nagaingon nga mahiagom ka gyud sa espada sa hari sa Babylon. 12Ipapatay ko ang daghan mo nga katawhan pinaagi sa espada sa gamhanan nga mga tawo nga pinakabangis sa tanang nasod. Laglagon gyud nila ang tanang katawhan sa Ehipto apil ang mga butang nga gipasigarbo niini. 13Pamatyon ko ang tanang mga mananap sa Ehipto nga nagasabsab32:13 nagasabsab: o, nagainom. duol sa abundang tubig.32:13 abundang tubig: Posible nga ang Suba sa Nilo. 16“Mao kini ang awit sa pagbangotan nga awiton sa mga nagpuyo sa mga nasod alang sa Ehipto ug sa tanan niya nga mga nagpuyo. Ako, ang Ginoo nga Dios, ang nagaingon niini.”
17Unya, sa ika-15 nga adlaw sa mao gihapon nga bulan ug tuig, miingon ang Ginoo kanako, 18“Tawo, pagsubo alang sa mga nagpuyo sa Ehipto ug sa mga nagpuyo sa uban nga gamhanan nga mga nasod. Mao usab sa mosunod nga mga bersikulo. 20nga nangamatay sa gubat.’ Malaglag ang mga Ehiptohanon kay andam na ang espada sa mga kaaway sa pagpatay kanila. Guyoron ang Ehipto ug ang iyang katawhan ngadto sa kalaglagan. 21Didto sa dapit sa mga patay, abi-abihon sa gamhanan nga mga pangulo ang Ehipto ug ang iyang kaabin nga mga nasod. Moingon sila, ‘Nanaog usab sila dinhi! Kauban na nila karon ang mga wala nakaila sa Dios nga nangamatay sa gubat.’
22-23“Atua usab didto ang hari sa Asiria nga nalibotan sa lubnganan sa iyang mga sundalo nga nangamatay sa gubat. Ang ilang mga lubnganan atua nahimutang sa kinahiladman nga bahin sa dapit sa mga patay. Sila nga gikahadlokan kaniadto sa mga tawo nangamatay na sa gubat.
24“Atua usab didto ang hari sa Elam. Nalibotan ang iyang lubnganan sa lubnganan sa iyang mga katawhan. Nangamatay silang tanan sa gubat. Nanaog sila didto sa dapit sa mga patay uban sa mga wala motuo sa Dios. Sa buhi pa sila, gikahadlokan sila sa mga tawo, apan karon naulawan sila uban niadtong mga nangamatay na. 25May dapit nga gipahimutangan didto alang sa hari sa Elam uban sa mga nangamatay sa gubat. Nalibotan ang iyang lubnganan sa lubnganan sa iyang katawhan. Silang tanan nga wala nakaila sa Dios nangamatay sa gubat. Gikahadlokan sila sa mga tawo sa buhi pa sila, apan karon nahiagom sila sa kaulawan ug nagbuy-od uban sa mga nangamatay sa gubat.
26“Atua usab didto ang hari sa Meshech ug ang hari sa Tubal. Nalibotan ang ilang lubnganan sa lubnganan sa ilang mga katawhan. Silang tanan nga wala nakaila sa Dios, nangamatay sa gubat. Gikahadlokan gyud sila kaniadto sa buhi pa sila. 27Apan nangamatay sila nga wala mahatagig dungganon nga lubong sama sa bantogan nga mga tawo nga wala nakaila sa Dios, nga gilubong nga ang ilang mga espada anaa sa ilang ulohan ug ang ilang mga taming anaa sa ilang dughan. Kini nga mga tawhana gikahadlokan usab sa mga tawo sa buhi pa sila.
28“Ug ikaw, hari sa Ehipto, malaglag usab ug magbuy-od uban sa mga wala nakaila sa Dios nga nangamatay sa gubat.
29“Atua usab didto sa dapit sa mga patay ang hari sa Edom ug ang tanan niya nga opisyal. Gamhanan sila kaniadto, apan karon gilubong sila uban sa mga wala nakaila sa Dios nga nangamatay sa gubat.
30“Atua usab didto ang tanang opisyal sa mga dapit sa amihan ug ang mga taga-Sidon. Gikahadlokan usab sila sa mga tawo sa buhi pa sila. Gamhanan usab sila kaniadto, apan karon nahiagom sila sa kaulawan ug tua na sa dapit sa mga patay uban sa mga wala nakaila sa Dios nga nangamatay sa gubat. 31Inigkakita sa hari sa Ehipto niini nga mga nangamatay didto sa dapit sa mga patay malipay siya ug ang iyang mga sundalo tungod kay dili lang diay sila ang nangamatay sa gubat. 32Bisan gitugotan ko nga kahadlokan sila sa mga tawo sa buhi pa sila, mamatay sila ug magbuy-od uban sa mga wala nakaila kanako nga nangamatay sa gubat. Ako, ang Ginoo nga Dios, ang nagaingon niini.”
