8¶ Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen; 9Therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim,25.9 side…: Heb. shoulder of Moab 10Unto the men of the east with the Ammonites, and will give them in possession, that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations.25.10 with…: or, against the children of Ammon 11And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

預言審判外族人
1耶和華對我說： 2「人子啊，你要面向亞捫人，說預言斥責他們， 3告訴他們要聽主耶和華的話。主耶和華說，『當我的聖所被褻瀆，以色列變得荒涼，猶大人被擄的時候，你們竟然哈哈而樂。 4所以我要使東方人侵佔你們的地方。他們必在你們的土地上安營紮寨，吃你們出產的果子，喝你們牛羊的奶。 5我要使拉巴成為駱駝的草場，使亞捫人的土地變成羊群歇息之處，這樣你們便知道我是耶和華。
6「主耶和華說，『你們看到以色列的災禍，便幸災樂禍，手舞足蹈。 7因此，我要伸手攻擊你們，使你們成為各國的俘虜。我必從萬民中剷除你們，從萬國中消滅你們，使你們滅絕。這樣，你們就知道我是耶和華。』
斥責摩押
8「耶和華說，『摩押和西珥嘲笑猶大與其他各國沒有兩樣。 9所以我要攻陷摩押邊界的城邑，就是那地方引以為榮的伯·耶西末、巴力·免和基列亭。 10我要將它和亞捫人一起交給東方人統治，使亞捫人從此被列國遺忘。 11我必審判摩押人，這樣他們就知道我是耶和華。』
斥責以東
12「耶和華說，『因為以東報復猶大，犯了大罪。 13所以，我要伸手攻擊以東，剷除那裡的人和牲畜，使地荒廢，從提幔直到底但的以東人要倒在刀下。 14我要藉我以色列子民的手向以東報仇。以色列人會照我的烈怒懲罰他們。那時，他們就會嚐到我報應他們的滋味，這是主耶和華說的。』

15「主耶和華說，『非利士人心存仇恨，為了報世仇要毀滅猶大， 16所以我必伸手攻擊他們，剷除基利提人，毀滅沿海殘餘的人。 17我要報應他們，發烈怒懲罰他們。我報應他們的時候，他們就知道我是耶和華。』」
