1Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them.26.1 of cunning…: Heb. the work of a cunning workman, or, embroiderer 2The length of one curtain shall be eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and every one of the curtains shall have one measure. 3The five curtains shall be coupled together one to another; and other five curtains shall be coupled one to another. 4And thou shalt make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling; and likewise shalt thou make in the uttermost edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.26.4 selvedge: an edge of cloth so woven that it cannot unravel 5Fifty loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second; that the loops may take hold one of another. 6And thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle.
7¶ And thou shalt make curtains of goats’ hair to be a covering upon the tabernacle: eleven curtains shalt thou make. 8The length of one curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and the eleven curtains shall be all of one measure. 9And thou shalt couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shalt double the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tabernacle. 10And thou shalt make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outmost in the coupling, and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second. 11And thou shalt make fifty taches of brass, and put the taches into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one.26.11 tent: or, covering 12And the remnant that remaineth of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remaineth, shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle. 13And a cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the other side of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it.26.13 of that…: Heb. in the remainder, or, surplus 14And thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers’ skins.
15¶ And thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood standing up. 16Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and a cubit and a half shall be the breadth of one board. 17Two tenons shall there be in one board, set in order one against another: thus shalt thou make for all the boards of the tabernacle.26.17 tenons: Heb. hands 18And thou shalt make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards on the south side southward. 19And thou shalt make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons.26.19 tenons: Heb. hands 20And for the second side of the tabernacle on the north side there shall be twenty boards: 21And their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board. 22And for the sides of the tabernacle westward thou shalt make six boards. 23And two boards shalt thou make for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides. 24And they shall be coupled together beneath, and they shall be coupled together above the head of it unto one ring: thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners.26.24 coupled: Heb. twinned 25And they shall be eight boards, and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
26¶ And thou shalt make bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle, 27And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the two sides westward. 28And the middle bar in the midst of the boards shall reach from end to end. 29And thou shalt overlay the boards with gold, and make their rings of gold for places for the bars: and thou shalt overlay the bars with gold. 30And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was shewed thee in the mount.
31¶ And thou shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made: 32And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of shittim wood overlaid with gold: their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver.
33¶ And thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy. 34And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place. 35And thou shalt set the table without the vail, and the candlestick over against the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south: and thou shalt put the table on the north side. 36And thou shalt make an hanging for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework. 37And thou shalt make for the hanging five pillars of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, and their hooks shall be of gold: and thou shalt cast five sockets of brass for them.
Instrucțiuni privind cortul Tabernaculului
(Ex. 36:8-38)
1Tabernaculul să‑l faci din zece draperii din fir de in subțire răsucit și din fire de culoare albastră, purpurie și cărămizie. Să le brodezi cu heruvimi, lucrați cu măiestrie. 2Fiecare draperie să fie lungă de douăzeci și opt de coți și lată de patru coți2 Vezi nota de la 25:10; aproximativ 14 m lungime și 2 m lățime.. Toate draperiile să fie de aceeași mărime. 3Cinci draperii să fie prinse laolaltă, iar celelalte cinci să fie prinse și ele laolaltă. 4Pe marginea draperiei exterioare din primul set, să faci niște cheotori din fir de culoare albastră. La fel să faci și pe marginea draperiei exterioare a celui de‑al doilea set. 5Să faci cincizeci de cheotori draperiei din primul set și să faci cincizeci de cheotori pe marginea draperiei celui de‑al doilea set, astfel încât cheotorile să se potrivească unele cu celelalte. 6Să faci cincizeci de cârlige de aur și cu acestea să prinzi draperiile unele de altele, astfel încât Tabernaculul să alcătuiască un întreg.
7Să faci și niște draperii din păr de capră pentru acoperișul Tabernaculului; să faci unsprezece astfel de draperii. 8Fiecare draperie să fie lungă de treizeci de coți și lată de patru coți8 Aproximativ 15 m lungime și 2 m lățime.. Toate cele unsprezece draperii să fie de aceeași mărime. 9Să prinzi laolaltă cinci dintre draperii ca să alcătuiască un set, iar cu celelalte șase să faci un alt set. A șasea draperie s‑o îndoi în fața cortului. 10Să faci cincizeci de cheotori pe marginea draperiei exterioare din primul set și cincizeci de cheotori pe marginea draperiei exterioare a celui de‑al doilea set. 11Să faci cincizeci de cârlige de bronz pe care să le introduci prin cheotori și să unești cortul, astfel încât acesta să fie un întreg. 12Partea care rămâne din draperiile cortului, mai exact jumătatea care rămâne, să atârne în partea din spate a Tabernaculului. 13Un cot13 Aproximativ 0,5 m. într‑o parte și un cot în cealaltă parte, astfel încât, ceea ce mai rămâne din lungimea draperiilor cortului, să atârne peste marginile Tabernaculului, într‑o parte și în cealaltă și să îl acopere. 14Să mai faci pentru cort o învelitoare din piei de berbeci vopsite în roșu și o acoperitoare exterioară din piele trainică14 Sau: piei de delfin. 15Să faci pentru Tabernacul niște scânduri verticale din lemn de salcâm. 16Lungimea fiecărei scânduri să fie de zece coți, iar lățimea fiecărei scânduri să fie de un cot și jumătate16 Aproximativ 5 m lungime și 0,75 m lățime.. 17Fiecare să aibă câte două cepuri prin care să fie îmbinate. Să faci la fel toate scândurile Tabernaculului. 18Să faci douăzeci de scânduri pentru partea de sud a Tabernaculului. 19Sub cele douăzeci de scânduri să faci patruzeci de piedestale de argint, din care două să fie sub prima scândură cu cele două cepuri ale ei, și două sub următoarea scândură cu cele două cepuri ale ei. 20Pentru partea de nord a Tabernaculului să faci douăzeci de scânduri 21și patruzeci de piedestale de argint, câte două sub fiecare scândură. 22Pentru partea din spate a Tabernaculului, orientată spre apus, să faci șase scânduri. 23Apoi să faci încă două scânduri pentru colțurile din spate ale Tabernaculului. 24Acestea trebuie făcute din câte două bucăți, unite de sus până jos; în partea de sus trebuie prinse cu un inel de metal. Să faci la fel pentru scândurile din ambele colțuri. 25Vor fi astfel opt scânduri cu piedestalele lor de argint, în total șaisprezece piedestale, câte două sub fiecare scândură. 26Să faci apoi drugi din lemn de salcâm, cinci drugi pentru cadrul primei părți a Tabernaculului, 27cinci pentru cadrul celei de‑a doua părți a Tabernaculului și cinci pentru cadrul din spate al Tabernaculului, orientat spre apus. 28Drugul din centru să treacă prin mijlocul cadrului, de la un capăt la celălalt. 29Să poleiești cadrul cu aur și să faci din aur inelele care țin drugii poleiți cu aur.
30Să ridici Tabernaculul după modelul care ți‑a fost arătat pe munte.
Cele două draperii
31Să faci o draperie din fire de culoare albastră, purpurie și cărămizie și din fir de in subțire răsucit, cu heruvimi brodați pe ea cu măiestrie. 32Să o prinzi pe patru stâlpi din lemn de salcâm poleiți cu aur, care au cârlige de aur și care sunt fixați pe patru piedestale de argint. 33Să atârni draperia de cârlige și să aduci Chivotul Mărturiei înăuntru, în spatele draperiei. Draperia va separa Locul Sfânt de Locul Preasfânt. 34Să pui Capacul Ispășirii peste Chivotul Mărturiei în Locul Preasfânt. 35Să pui masa dincoace de draperie, în partea de nord a Tabernaculului, iar sfeșnicul în partea de sud, față în față cu masa.
36Pentru intrarea în cort să faci o draperie din fire de culoare albastră, purpurie și cărămizie și din fir de in subțire răsucit, lucrată la gherghef. 37Pentru această draperie să faci cinci stâlpi din lemn de salcâm pe care să‑i poleiești cu aur. Cârligele să le fie de aur și să le torni cinci piedestale de bronz.
