49¶ But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, and were appointed for all the work of the place most holy, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded. 50And these are the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son, 51Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son, 52Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son, 53Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.
54¶ Now these are their dwelling places throughout their castles in their coasts, of the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites: for theirs was the lot. 55And they gave them Hebron in the land of Judah, and the suburbs thereof round about it. 56But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh. 57And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of Judah, namely, Hebron, the city of refuge, and Libnah with her suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa, with their suburbs, 58And Hilen with her suburbs, Debir with her suburbs,6.58 Hilen: or, Holon 59And Ashan with her suburbs, and Beth-shemesh with her suburbs:6.59 Ashan: or, Ain 60And out of the tribe of Benjamin; Geba with her suburbs, and Alemeth with her suburbs, and Anathoth with her suburbs. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.6.60 Alemeth: or, Almon 61And unto the sons of Kohath, which were left of the family of that tribe, were cities given out of the half tribe, namely, out of the half tribe of Manasseh, by lot, ten cities. 62And to the sons of Gershom throughout their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities. 63Unto the sons of Merari were given by lot, throughout their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities. 64And the children of Israel gave to the Levites these cities with their suburbs. 65And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities, which are called by their names. 66And the residue of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their coasts out of the tribe of Ephraim. 67And they gave unto them, of the cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim with her suburbs; they gave also Gezer with her suburbs, 68And Jokmeam with her suburbs, and Beth-horon with her suburbs, 69And Aijalon with her suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbs: 70And out of the half tribe of Manasseh; Aner with her suburbs, and Bileam with her suburbs, for the family of the remnant of the sons of Kohath. 71Unto the sons of Gershom were given out of the family of the half tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, and Ashtaroth with her suburbs: 72And out of the tribe of Issachar; Kedesh with her suburbs, Daberath with her suburbs, 73And Ramoth with her suburbs, and Anem with her suburbs: 74And out of the tribe of Asher; Mashal with her suburbs, and Abdon with her suburbs, 75And Hukok with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs: 76And out of the tribe of Naphtali; Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, and Hammon with her suburbs, and Kirjathaim with her suburbs. 77Unto the rest of the children of Merari were given out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmon with her suburbs, Tabor with her suburbs: 78And on the other side Jordan by Jericho, on the east side of Jordan, were given them out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with her suburbs, and Jahzah with her suburbs, 79Kedemoth also with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her suburbs: 80And out of the tribe of Gad; Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, and Mahanaim with her suburbs, 81And Heshbon with her suburbs, and Jazer with her suburbs.

15እግዚአብሔር የይሁዳና የኢየሩሳሌም ሕዝብ በናቡከደነፆር እጅ ተማርከው እንዲወሰዱ ባደረገ ጊዜ ኢዮሴዴቅም አብሮ ተማርኮ ሄደ።

በየአባቶቻቸው ቤተ ሰብ የተቈጠሩት የሌዊ ጐሣዎች የሚከተሉት ናቸው፤

25የሕልቃና ዘሮች፤
አማሢ፣ አኪሞት።
26ልጁ ሕልቃና፣6፥26 አንዳንድ የዕብራይስጥ ቅጆች፣ የሰብዓ ሊቃናት ትርጕምና የሱርስቱ ቅጅ ከዚህ ጋር ይስማማሉ፤ አብዛኞቹ የዕብራይስጥ ቅጆች ግን፣ ኪሞትና 26 ሕልቃና፤ የሕልቃና ወንዶች ልጆች፤ ልጁ ሱፊ፣
ልጁ ናሐት፣ 27ልጁ ኤልያብ፣
ልጁ ይሮሐም፣ ልጁ ሕልቃና፣
ልጁ ሳሙኤል6፥27 አንዳንድ የሰብዓ ሊቃናት ትርጕሞች (እንዲሁም 1ሳሙ 1፥19፡20 እና 1ዜና 6፥33፡34 ይመ) ከዚህ ጋር ይስማማሉ፤ ዕብራይስጡ ግን፣ ልጁ ሳሙኤል የሚለውን ሐረግ አይጨምርም።
28የሳሙኤል ወንዶች ልጆች፤
የበኵር ልጁ ኢዮኤል6፥28 አንዳንድ የሰብዓ ሊቃናት ትርጕሞችና ሱርስቱ (እንዲሁም 1ሳሙ 8፥2 እና 1ዜና 6፥33 ይመ) ከዚህ ጋር ይስማማሉ፤ ዕብራይስጡ ግን፣ ኢዩኤል የሚለውን ስም አይጨምርም።፣

29የሜራሪ ዘሮች፤
ሞሖሊ፣ ልጁ ሎቤኒ፣
ልጁ ሰሜኢ፣ ልጁ ዖዛ፣

6፥54-80 ተጓ ምብ – ኢያ 21፥4-39
31ታቦቱ ከገባ በኋላ፣ ዳዊት የመዘምራን አለቃ አድርጎ በእግዚአብሔር ቤት የሾማቸው ሰዎች እነዚህ ናቸው፤ 32እነርሱም ሰሎሞን የእግዚአብሔርን ቤተ መቅደስ በኢየሩሳሌም እስኪሠራ ድረስ፣ በማደሪያው፣ ይኸውም በመገናኛው ድንኳን ፊት ሆነው እየዘመሩ ያገለግሉ ነበር፤ አገልግሎታቸውንም የሚያከናውኑት በወጣላቸው ደንብ መሠረት ነው።
33ከወንዶች ልጆቻቸው ጋር ሆነው ያገለገሉ ሰዎች እነዚህ ናቸው፤

48ሌዋውያን ወንድሞቻቸው ግን የእግዚአብሔርን ቤት የማደሪያ ድንኳን ተግባር እንዲያከናውኑ ተመድበው ነበር። 49የእግዚአብሔር ባሪያ ሙሴ ባዘዘው መሠረት፣ ስለ እስራኤል ማስተስረያ በቅድስተ ቅዱሳኑ ውስጥ የሚከናወነውን ተግባር ሁሉ፣ በመሠዊያው ላይ የሚቃጠል መሥዋዕትና በዕጣኑ መሠዊያ ላይ የሚቀርበውን መሥዋዕት የሚያቀርቡት ግን አሮንና ዘሮቹ ብቻ ነበሩ።
50የአሮን ዘሮች እነዚህ ነበሩ፤
ልጁ አልዓዛር፣ ልጁ ፊንሐስ፣
ልጁ አቢሱ 51ልጁ ቡቂ፣
ልጁ ኦዚ፣ ልጁ ዘራእያ፣
52ልጁ መራዮት፣ ልጁ አማርያ፣
ልጁ አኪጦብ፣ 53ልጁ ሳዶቅ፣
ልጁ አኪማአስ።
54መኖሪያዎቻቸው እንዲሆኑ የተመደቡላቸው ቦታዎች እነዚህ ናቸው፦ የመጀመሪያው ዕጣ የእነርሱ ስለሆነ፣ ከቀዓት ጐሣ ለሆኑት ለአሮን ዘሮች የተመደቡላቸው መኖሪያዎች እነዚህ ነበሩ።
55ለእነርሱም በይሁዳ ምድር የምትገኘው ኬብሮንና በዙሪያዋ ያለው የግጦሽ ቦታ ተሰጠ፤ 56በኬብሮን ዙሪያ የሚገኙት የዕርሻ ቦታዎችና መንደሮች ግን ለዮፎኒ ልጅ ለካሌብ ተሰጡ። 57ለአሮን ዘሮች የመማፀኛ ከተሞች የሆኑትን ኬብሮንን፣ ልብናን፣ የቲርን፣ ኤሽትሞዓን፣ 58ሖሎንን፣ ዳቤርን፣ 59ዓሳንን፣ ዮታን6፥59 የሱርስቱ ቅጅ (እንዲሁም የሰብዓ ሊቃናትና ኢያ 21፥16) ከዚህ ጋር ይስማማሉ፤ ዕብራይስጡ ግን፣ ዮታን የሚለውን ስም አይጨምርም።፣ ቤትሳሚስን ከነመሰማሪያዎቻቸው ሰጡ።
60ከብንያም ነገድ ድርሻ ላይ ገባዖንን፣6፥60 ኢያ 21፥17 ከዚህ ጋር ይስማማል፤ ዕብራይስጡ ግን ገባዖን የሚለውን ስም አይጨምርም። ጌባን፣ ጋሌማን፣ ዓናቶትን ከነመሰማሪያዎቻቸው ሰጡ።
ለቀዓት ዘሮች የተከፋፈሉት እነዚህ ከተሞች በአጠቃላይ ዐሥራ ሦስት ናቸው።
61ለቀሩት የቀዓት ዘሮች ደግሞ ከምናሴ ነገድ እኩሌታ ድርሻ ዐሥር ከተሞች ተሰጧቸው።
62ለጌድሶን ነገድ በየጐሣቸው ከይሳኮር፣ ከአሴር፣ ከንፍታሌምና በባሳን ከሚገኘው ከምናሴ ነገድ ድርሻ ላይ ዐሥራ ሦስት ከተሞች ተመደቡላቸው።
63ለሜራሪ ዘሮች በየጐሣቸው ከሮቤል፣ ከጋድና ከዛብሎን ድርሻ ላይ ዐሥራ ሁለት ከተሞች ተመደቡላቸው።
64እስራኤላውያንም ከተሞቹን በዚሁ ሁኔታ መድበው ከነመሰማሪያዎቻቸው ለሌዋውያኑ ሰጧቸው።
65ቀደም ብለው የተጠቀሱትንም ከተሞች ከይሁዳ፣ ከስምዖንና ከብንያም ነገድ ላይ ወስደው መደቡላቸው።
66ለአንዳንድ የቀዓት ጐሣዎችም ከኤፍሬም ነገድ ድርሻ ላይ የሚኖሩበት ቦታ ተሰጣቸው።
67በኰረብታማው በኤፍሬም ምድር የሚገኙትን የመማፀኛ ከተሞች ሴኬምን፣ ጌዝርን፣ 68ዮቅምዓምን፣ ቤትሖሮን፣ 69ኤሎንንና ጋትሪሞን ከነመሰማሪያዎቻቸው ሰጧቸው።
70እንዲሁም እስራኤላውያን ከምናሴ ነገድ እኩሌታ ድርሻ ላይ ዓኔርና ቢልዓም የተባሉትን ከተሞች ከነመሰማሪያዎቻቸው ወስደው ለቀሩት የቀዓት ጐሣዎች ሰጧቸው።
71ጌድሶናውያን ከዚህ የሚከተሉትን ከተሞች ወሰዱ፤
ከምናሴ ነገድ እኩሌታ፣ በባሳን የሚገኘውን ጎላንና አስታሮትን ከነመሰማሪያዎቻቸው ወሰዱ፤
72ከይሳኮርም ነገድ፣ ቃዴስን፣ ዳብራትን 73ራሞትንና ዓኔምናን ከነመሰማሪያዎቻቸው ወሰዱ፤
74ከአሴር ነገድ መዓሳልን፣ ዓብዶን፣ 75ሑቆቅንና፣ ረአብን ከነመሰማሪያዎቻቸው ወሰዱ፤
76ከንፍታሌም ነገድ በገሊላ የሚገኘውን ቃዴስን፣ ሐሞንንና፣ ቂርያታይምን ከነመሰማሪያዎቻቸው ወሰዱ።
77ከሌዋውያን የቀሩት የሜራሪ ጐሣዎች ደግሞ ከዚህ የሚከተለውን ወሰዱ፤
ከዛብሎን ነገድ ዮቅኒዓምን፣ ቀርታህን፣6፥77 የሰብዓ ሊቃናት ትርጕምንና ኢያ 21፥34 ይመ፤ ዕብራይስጡ ግን፣ ዮቅኒዓምን፣ ቀርታህን የሚለውን አይጨምርም። ሬሞንና፣ ታቦርን ከነመሰማሪያዎቻቸው ወሰዱ።
78ከዮርዳኖስ ወንዝ ማዶ ከኢያሪኮ በስተ ምሥራቅ ከሚገኘው ከሮቤል ነገድ፣
በምድረ በዳ የሚገኘውን ቦሶርን፣ ያሳን፣ 79ቅዴሞትንና ሜፍዓትን ከነመሰማሪያዎቻቸው ወሰዱ፤
80ከጋድ ነገድ በገለዓድ የምትገኘውን ሬማትን፣ መሃናይምን፣ 81ሐሴቦንና ኢያዜርን ከነመሰማሪያዎቻቸው ወሰዱ።
