1ああ神よ、立ち上がってください。
敵どもを追い散らし、
あなたの前から逃げ去らせてください。
2煙が風で吹き払われ、ろうが火で溶けるように、
悪党どもが神の御前で滅ぼされますように。
3正しい者たちは、躍り上がって喜びますように。
歓喜にあふれますように。
4神に賛美の歌をささげなさい。
雲に乗って来られる方に、声高らかに歌いなさい。
喜びを満面にたたえて、この方の前に出なさい。
5きよいお方である神は、
父親のいない子の父となり、
未亡人の訴えを公正に取り扱ってくださいます。
6身寄りのない者に家族を与え、
囚人を牢獄から解き放ち、
その口に喜びの歌をわき上がらせてくださいます。
しかし、神に背く者の行く手には、
ききんと悩みが待っています。
7ああ神よ。あなたが荒野で人々を導かれた時、
8大地は揺れ動き、天は震えました。
シナイ山も、イスラエルの神の前で縮み上がりました。
9-10ああ神よ。あなたは十分な雨を降らせ、
疲れ果てたようなご自分の領地を、
生き返らせてくださいました。
根無し草のようであった神の民は、
その地を住みかとしていただいたのです。
11-13主のひと言で、敵は逃げ惑います。
家を守る女たちは、
「こちらに向かっていた敵軍は逃げて行きました」と
大声で知らせて回ります。
今や、イスラエル中の女が
戦利品を分け合うのです。
ごらんなさい。女たちは、羽で覆われた鳩のように、
きらめく金銀で身を飾ります。
14敵は神の御手によって、
ツァルモンの森に落ちるひとひらの雪のように、
影も形もなく消え去りました。
15-16バシャンに連なってそびえる、
壮大な山々、峰々よ。君たちがシオン山を
ねたみをもって眺めるのも無理はありません。
この山は、神の永遠の住まいとして
選ばれたのですから。
17おびただしい戦車を巡らして、神はシナイ山から、
シオンの山にある聖なる宮に移られます。
18大ぜいの捕虜を率いて、高い所へ上って行かれます。
神の受ける貢ぎ物の中には、
かつての反逆からささげられた物もあります。
神である主は私たちのただ中に住んでくださるのです。
19主はすばらしいお方です。
日ごとに私たちの重荷を担って、
救いの手を差し伸べてくださいます。
20神は私たちを解き放ち、死から救い出されます。
21しかし、強情で罪深い生き方を
改めようとしない敵は、粉砕なさいます。
22主はヘルモン山の岩地や海の底に身を潜めている敵に、
「さあ、出て来い」と叫ばれます。
23人々はこの敵を徹底的に滅ぼし、
彼らの血に足を浸すべきです。
犬が敵の肉を食べるでしょう。
24私の王である神の行列は、聖所に向かっています。
25先頭を行くのは歌い手たちで、
楽器をかなでる人々がしんがりを務め、
真ん中はタンバリンを打ち鳴らす
おとめたちが進みます。
26さあ、イスラエルの国民よ、
私たちの泉そのものである主をほめたたえなさい。
27最も小さなベニヤミン族が先頭となり、
そのあとに、ユダ族の長と長老たち、
ゼブルン族とナフタリ族の長たちが続きます。
28ああ神よ、どうか奮い立って、今までと同じく、
あなたの力強さをお示しください。
29諸国の王は、エルサレムの神の宮に
貢ぎ物を納めに来ます。
30ああ神よ、敵をしかりつけ、
進んで税を持って来るようにしてください。
争い事を好む連中を追い散らしてください。
31エジプトは貴金属の品々を贈ってよこし、
エチオピヤは神に慕いこがれて
手を差し出すでしょう。
32世界の国々よ、神に賛美の歌声を上げなさい。
33大昔からこの天空にまたがり、
力強い声を、雷のように大空にとどろかせておられた
神に、賛美をささげなさい。
34力の源は神です。
神のご威光はイスラエルの上に輝き、
その力は天上にみなぎります。
35宮でひざまずくとき、
口では言い表せないほどの厳粛さに打たれます。
イスラエルの神は、ご自分の民を強くし、
力を与えてくださいます。
さあ、神をほめたたえましょう。
