1-2権力をふるう高慢なおまえたち政治家に、
正義ということばの意味がわかるのか。
おまえたちのうち、
公平のかけらでも持ち合わせている者がいるのか。
おまえたちの取り引きは不正だらけで、
わいろと引き替えに「正義」を売り渡している。
3こんな者たちは生まれながらの罪人で、
最初に覚えたのがうそをつくことなのです。
4-5彼らは毒蛇のように口に毒を含み、
熟練した蛇使いの声にさえ耳をふさぐ蛇のようです。
6ああ神よ、彼らの牙を折り、
若いライオンの歯のようなその歯を
引き抜いてください。
7乾ききった地に吸い込まれる水のように、
影も形もなくしてください。
彼らの手の武器を、へし折ってください。
8塩をかけられて溶けるなめくじのように、
日の光を知らない死産の子のようにしてください。
9神は、老いも若きもいっしょに掃き捨て、
あっという間に滅ぼされます。
10神を敬う人は、ついには正義が勝つのを見て喜び、
殺された悪者どもの血のしたたる野原を歩きます。
11こうして、地上には公平にさばく神がおられ、
善人に必ず報いてくださることが、
だれの目にも明らかになるのです。
