Gott will bei seinem Volk wohnen
1Der Herr sprach zu Mose: 2-3»Sag den Israeliten, sie sollen für mich eine Abgabe entrichten! Jeder, dem es am Herzen liegt, soll etwas von den folgenden Dingen für mich geben: Gold, Silber und Bronze, 4violette, purpurrote und karmesinrote Wolle, feines Leinen, Ziegenhaar, 5rot gefärbte Felle von Schafböcken, Tachasch-Leder25,5 Vermutlich handelt es sich beim Tachasch um einen Meeressäuger wie Delfin, Seehund oder Seekuh., Akazienholz, 6Öl für den Leuchter, wohlriechende Gewürze für das Salböl und die Weihrauchmischung, 7Onyx-Steine und andere Edelsteine, die auf dem Schurz und der Brusttasche des Priesters eingesetzt werden können. 8Die Israeliten sollen mir aus diesen Materialien ein Heiligtum bauen, denn ich will bei ihnen wohnen. 9Fertigt das Heiligtum und alles, was dazugehört, genau so an, wie ich es dir jetzt zeigen werde!«
Die Bundeslade
10»Die Israeliten sollen einen Kasten aus Akazienholz bauen, eineinviertel Meter lang, einen Dreiviertelmeter breit und ebenso hoch. 11Innen und außen sollen sie ihn mit reinem Gold überziehen und auf der Oberseite ringsum eine goldene Zierleiste anbringen. 12Lass vier Ringe gießen, die ebenfalls aus Gold bestehen. Sie werden an den vier unteren Ecken des Kastens befestigt, je zwei Ringe an jeder Längsseite. 13Dann sollen Tragstangen aus Akazienholz angefertigt und mit Gold überzogen werden. 14Sie werden durch die Ringe an den Längsseiten des Kastens gesteckt, damit man ihn daran tragen kann. 15Die Tragstangen müssen stets an ihrem Ort bleiben und dürfen nicht mehr aus den Ringen herausgezogen werden. 16In die Bundeslade sollst du die beiden Steintafeln legen, die ich dir geben werde. Auf ihnen sind meine Gebote und Weisungen niedergeschrieben.
17Lass auch eine Deckplatte aus reinem Gold für den Kasten herstellen, eineinviertel Meter lang und einen Dreiviertelmeter breit. 18-19Dann sollen zwei Keruben aus massivem Gold geschmiedet werden, die an den beiden Enden der Deckplatte stehen. Die Platte und die beiden Figuren sollen aus einem Stück gearbeitet sein. 20Die Keruben breiten ihre Flügel nach oben aus und beschirmen die Deckplatte, die Gesichter sind einander zugewandt und ihre Augen auf die Platte gerichtet.
21Die Deckplatte soll die Bundeslade verschließen, in der die beiden Steintafeln mit den Geboten liegen, die ich dir geben werde. 22An dieser Stelle, über der Bundeslade zwischen den beiden Keruben, will ich mich dir offenbaren und dir alles sagen, was du den Israeliten weitergeben sollst.«
Der Tisch für die Gott geweihten Brote
23»Lass einen Tisch aus Akazienholz anfertigen, einen Meter lang, einen halben Meter breit und einen Dreiviertelmeter hoch. 24Er soll mit reinem Gold überzogen sein und ringsum eine goldene Zierleiste haben. 25Auf die Tischplatte soll eine 8 Zentimeter hohe Umrandung aus Gold aufgesetzt werden, die auch wieder ringsum mit einer goldenen Leiste verziert wird. 26Lass vier Ringe aus massivem Gold gießen und sie an den vier Seiten anbringen, wo die Tischbeine anfangen. 27Die Ringe sollen dicht unter der Goldumrandung befestigt sein; sie müssen die Stangen halten, mit denen man den Tisch trägt. 28Auch die Stangen sollen aus Akazienholz gefertigt und mit Gold überzogen sein.
29Lass Schüsseln und Schalen, Kannen und Opferschalen machen, alles aus reinem Gold. Aus ihnen soll man das Trankopfer ausgießen. 30Auf dem Tisch sollen stets die Brote liegen, die mir geweiht sind.«
Der siebenarmige Leuchter
31»Lass einen Leuchter aus reinem Gold anfertigen. Fuß und Schaft sollen geschmiedet sein, und am Schaft sollen sich Kelche in Form von Knospen und Blüten befinden. Sie werden nicht aufgesetzt, sondern aus einem Stück mit dem Leuchter gearbeitet. 32Vom Schaft gehen sechs Seitenarme aus, drei nach jeder Seite. 33Jeder Arm soll mit drei Kelchen verziert sein, die wie die Knospen und Blüten des Mandelbaums aussehen, 34der Schaft selbst mit vier solchen Kelchen. 35Drei davon sollen jeweils unter den Ansätzen der Seitenarme angebracht werden. 36Die Seitenarme und Kelche sollen wie der ganze Leuchter aus einem einzigen Stück reinem Gold geschmiedet sein.
37Lass sieben Lampen anfertigen und sie mit dem Docht nach vorne auf die Arme des Leuchters setzen, damit sie den Raum erhellen. 38Die dazugehörigen Dochtscheren und Schalen25,38 Vermutlich wurden diese benutzt, um Öl nachzufüllen und die ausgebrannten Dochte aus dem heiligen Zelt zu tragen. sollen ebenfalls aus reinem Gold sein. 39Aus 35 Kilogramm reinem Gold sollst du den Leuchter und alle diese Gegenstände herstellen lassen. 40Achte genau darauf, dass alles nach dem Vorbild angefertigt wird, das ich dir hier auf dem Berg zeige!«

10¶ And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. 11And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about. 12And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings shall be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it. 13And thou shalt make staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold. 14And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them. 15The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it. 16And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee. 17And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof. 18And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat. 19And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.25.19 of…: or, of the matter of the mercy seat 20And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be. 21And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee. 22And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.
23¶ Thou shalt also make a table of shittim wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. 24And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about. 25And thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand breadth round about, and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about. 26And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet thereof. 27Over against the border shall the rings be for places of the staves to bear the table. 28And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them. 29And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure gold shalt thou make them.25.29 to…: or, to pour out withal 30And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway.
31¶ And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same. 32And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side: 33Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick. 34And in the candlestick shall be four bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers. 35And there shall be a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick. 36Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold. 37And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it.25.37 shall light: or, shall cause to ascend25.37 it: Heb. the face of it 38And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold. 39Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels. 40And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.25.40 which…: Heb. which thou wast caused to see
