1Ginoo, buligi ako,

3Ginoo, kabay pa nga pahipuson mo ang mga nagadayaw-dayaw sa iban kag ang mga nagapahambog
4nga nagasiling,
“Mangin madinalag-on kami paagi sa amon paghambal.
Pagusto kami kon ano ang amon ihambal,
kag wala sing may makapauntat sa amon.”
5Nagasiling ang Ginoo,
“Buligan ko ang mga kubos tungod kay ginapigos sila
kag nagaugayong sila sa pag-antos.
Protektaran ko sila kay amo ini ang ginahandom nila.”12:5 kay amo ini… nila: ukon, sa mga nagapakalain sa ila.
6Masaligan gid ang mga promisa sang Ginoo.
Pareho ini sang pilak nga masaligan gid nga puro
tungod kay ginpapuraw sa kalayo sing makapito ka beses.
7Ginoo, tipigi kami permi,
kag ilikaw kami sa mga malaot sa tanan nga tion.
8Kay bisan diin makita ang mga malaot
kag ginadayaw pa sang mga tawo ang kalautan.

1Help, Lord, for no-one is faithful anymore;

2Everyone lies to their neighbour;
they flatter with their lips
but harbour deception in their hearts.
3May the Lord silence all flattering lips
and every boastful tongue –
4those who say,
‘By our tongues we will prevail;
our own lips will defend us – who is lord over us?’
5‘Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan,
I will now arise,’ says the Lord.
‘I will protect them from those who malign them.’
6And the words of the Lord are flawless,
like silver purified in a crucible,

7You, Lord, will keep the needy safe
and will protect us for ever from the wicked,
8who freely strut about
