Pangamuyo para sa Bulig sang Ginoo
1Ginoo, ngaa bala kalayo sa imo?
Ngaa bala nagapanago ka sa tion sang kalisod?
2Tungod sang pagkamatinaas-taason sang mga malaot, ginapaantos nila ang mga kubos.
Kabay pa nga matabo sa ila mismo ang ila ginaplano nga malain sa iban.
3Kay ginapabugal nila ang ila malaot nga mga handom.
Sila nga mga dalok nagapakamalaot kag nagayaguta sa imo, Ginoo.10:3 Sila… Ginoo: ukon, Ginapakamaayo nila ang mga dalok, pero ginayaguta ka nila, Ginoo.
4Tungod sang pagkahambog nila nga mga malaot, wala sila nagadangop sa imo.
Wala gid sila nagahunahuna parte sa imo.
5Mauswagon sila permi, kag ginabaliwala lang nila ang imo paghukom.
Ginahikayan pa nila ang tanan nila nga kaaway.
6Nagahunahuna sila nga indi gid sila matublag,
kundi mangin malipayon sila permi kag wala sing malain nga matabo sa ila.
7Ang ila ginahambal puro pagpasipala, binutig, kag pamahog.
Nagahambal man sila sing malain nga mga pulong nga makahalit sa iban.
8Sa mga banwa nagahulat sila sa ila palanaguan nga nagabantay sa mga inosente nga magaagi agod patyon nila.
9Nagahulat sila nga nagapalipod pareho sa leon agod dakpon ang mga kubos,
kag kon madakop na gani nila ginaguyod nila dayon.
10Paagi sa ila kusog ginadugmok nila ang mga makaluluoy hasta nga indi na ini makabangon.
11Nagahunahuna sila nga wala nagasapak ang Dios kag wala gid niya makita ang ila ginahimo.
12Sige na Ginoong Dios, siluti na ang mga malaot!
Indi pagpabay-i ang mga kubos.
13O Dios, ngaa nga ginayaguta ka sang mga malaot?
Nagasiling pa sila nga indi mo kuno sila pagsilutan.
14Pero nakita mo ang mga nagaantos kag ang mga nalisdan,
kag handa ka sa pagbulig sa ila.
Nagadangop sa imo ang mga makaluluoy nga pareho sa mga ilo,
kag ginabuligan mo sila.
15Dulaa ang kusog sang malaot nga mga tawo.
Siluti sila sa ila mga kalautan hasta nga untatan na nila ini.
16Ginoo, hari ka sa wala sing katapusan.
Madula ang malaot nga mga nasyon sa kalibutan nga imo gintuga.
17Nabatian mo, Ginoo, ang pangamuyo sang mga kubos.
Sabta ang ila pangamuyo kag palig-una sila.
18Hatagi sang hustisya ang mga ilo kag mga ginapigos,
agod indi na sila pagpahugon sang tawo nga halin man lang sa duta.
Psalm 10Psalms 9 and 10 may originally have been a single acrostic poem in which alternating lines began with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet. In the Septuagint they constitute one psalm.
1Why, Lord, do you stand far off?
Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?
2In his arrogance the wicked man hunts down the weak,
who are caught in the schemes he devises.
3He boasts about the cravings of his heart;
he blesses the greedy and reviles the Lord.
4In his pride the wicked man does not seek him;
in all his thoughts there is no room for God.
5His ways are always prosperous;
your laws are rejected by10:5 See Septuagint; Hebrew / they are haughty, and your laws are far from him;
he sneers at all his enemies.
6He says to himself, ‘Nothing will ever shake me.’
He swears, ‘No-one will ever do me harm.’
7His mouth is full of lies and threats;
trouble and evil are under his tongue.
8He lies in wait near the villages;
from ambush he murders the innocent.
His eyes watch in secret for his victims;
9like a lion in cover he lies in wait.
He lies in wait to catch the helpless;
he catches the helpless and drags them off in his net.
10His victims are crushed, they collapse;
they fall under his strength.
11He says to himself, ‘God will never notice;
he covers his face and never sees.’
12Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God.
Do not forget the helpless.
13Why does the wicked man revile God?
Why does he say to himself,
‘He won’t call me to account’?
14But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted;
you consider their grief and take it in hand.
The victims commit themselves to you;
you are the helper of the fatherless.
15Break the arm of the wicked man;
call the evildoer to account for his wickedness
that would not otherwise be found out.
16The Lord is King for ever and ever;
the nations will perish from his land.
17You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted;
you encourage them, and you listen to their cry,
18defending the fatherless and the oppressed,
so that mere earthly mortals
will never again strike terror.
